After the numerous reviews warning of the inaccuracy about the shortage of lids to the number of cups, I made sure to count the lids AND cups. I didn’t have to open the plastic to see it was no where near the number of lids that should have been received. I counted everything to see just how off the numbers were. 50 cups...31 lids. Unacceptable. I contacted customer care which offered a refund. I’m happy there was no hesitation with making the issue right but it surely seems nothing has solved this ongoing occurrence where the customer HAS to inspect what they have paid for. Better quantity control is no doubt needed with this company.I wanted to give a fair account of how well the cup/lid held up based on its description. The flat lid fits perfectly onto the cup. Upon holding a cup filled with ice and liquid sideways, there was no leakage from the sealed lid. I also, like how the insert for the straw is tight enough to hold the straw securely in place and doesn’t leave a gap that allows the straw to freely move around.This purchase was intended for use of on-the-go drinks and I’m sure it will hold up well. Overall, I like that the product does what it is intended to do (contain and secure) and that will allow me to reconsider ordering again.
