Stirrup leathers are too long
Nice enough saddle, shiny black leather, made well enough. But unless you are 6 ft tall, the leathers will not get short enough. Also the cinch is not greatSo plan to replace the leathers to fit you and get a new cinch and you will be good.

Cheap girth
Comfy and nice to ride in, the girth is cheap and the stirrup leathers need tweaking they’re too long for me, I like the standard English or poles leathers that are more adjustable but that’s just me two cents.Leather was rubbed quite a bit on one side when delivered but it doesn’t affect it’s use or beauty.

Beautifully crafted and sturdy...just a little hard in the seat!!
First I want to say that I am a HUGE fan of Australian saddles since I do mostly day-long trail riding. This saddle is VERY well made, all leather and hardware very firm and substantially well built. However the seat itself is rather hard, but nothing a good seat cover won't fix. I choose aussie saddles mostly because of the comfort both in the seat and for my knees. The ability of the stirrups to swing naturally with your leg movement allow much more give for your legs. My knees have always had issues in the western saddle.com but this saddle gives my knees the break they need!!
