Best Mower Ever
This was a great price on a powerful mower, 12 Amp. It is sold as refurbished/remanufactured, but I would be hard-pressed to tell it wasn't new. When it arrived, I was so excited, I put it together right away in the kitchen. I actually don't reccomend doing that, because I had to carry it back outside down the stairs. The handle on the housing was handy for that. I also created a new Jeff Foxworthy joke, "If you have a lawn-mower in your kitchen.."Still, it was very easy to assemble, the instructions were easy, and I only needed a Phillips screwdriver. Once it was outside, I tested it on my back lawn. It started quickly and cut with power very smoothly. I tried it with and with-out the grass bagger. I reccomend using the grass bagger, because with out the bagger, the air out the back blew up my pants. Maybe some people will like that, I don't judge. The Bagger is also easy to take on and off to empty out. I like the little clip that holds the cord, so it doesn't pull itself apart as you go.To sum up, I am very happy with this mower, it is working great. I wish it was summer again and the grass grew more so I can cut it. Do not use in kitchen.

You need this lawnmower.
Yard work is now much easier. This was my first introduction to electric lawnmowers. I will never go back to gas powered lawnmowers. It’s great to just push a button, pull the handle and go! I live in the suburbs with a moderate sized front and back yard. It’s easy to maneuver and because there is no side shoot you can get very close to things. Mowing with a cord is no different than vacuuming with a cord in my opinion. I got the hang of mowing away from the plug in location after 2 mows. It’s also a bit quieter than traditional gas powered.Overall, I love owning this machine. It allows me to mow my yard as often as I want. It gives me more control over my yard. As a single woman and homeowner that’s important to me.When I ordered, it was refurbished. There was a delay so I emailed the company and they sent me a brand new one to apologize for the delay (at no additional charge). I can’t think of the last time a customer service team went that above and beyond for me. Very thorough supplier.

So far, so good...
I first saw this mower advertised by a mail-order selling of "clean air" gardening tools that I'd purchased a manual mower from, and so I assumed it was of reasonably quality. I still hesitated before buying it- how good could it be at the asking price?- but enough buyers seemed happy with theirs that I decided to risk it. At half the cost of the cheapest corded mower at the local bib box home store, it seemed as if it would be a good match for my small lawn. I've been using a hand mower for several years, but I find that if I let it go for over a week, it grows too far for the reel mower to cut it, and there are always areas that grow too long regardless. It arrived on an unseasonably warm day, which gave me an opportunity to give it a quick shakedown. Assembly was fast, requiring only a screwdriver for two screws. The plastic case reminded me of the material used in some of the cheap import scooters you see coming out of China, and I suspect if anything breaks it'll be the point where the handle attaches to the case. Inserted a tubular steel handle into a plastic socket and retaining it with a sheet metal screw doesn't seem like an ideal way to manage the load that will be concentrated there.Still, it started right up and have a good account of itself when run over some long grass left over from last season. I'll update this review after the mowing season begins in earnest.UPDATE: I've been using it for a month now, and it works just fine. It easily goes thorough tall, damp, grass and weeds without slowing down, and although I'm still a little concerned about the build quality, nothing's failed yet. Still, if I was to do it over I think I'd buy something like the Black & Decker MM875 Lawn Hog 19-Inch 12 amp Electric Mulching Mower with Rear Bag which I see Amazon has for a bit over $200. That's twice what I paid for this mower, but I suspect the B&D will last twice as long. I'm still hoping, though, that by the time this little mower dies the price of cordless mowers will have fallen a bit more.UPDATE II: After a full season's use, I have few complaints. Nothing broke, and it still starts up every time I pull on the power lever. I'd still spring for the B&D if I was to buy a new electric, but if high prices have been keeping you from buying an electric mower, this is not a bad choice.UPDATE III: After al Ostrow two years of use, I have switched to a Fiskars push mower that is the best thing I've found yet for maintaining as all yard. But I'm still keeping this mower for those times when the grass gets too long to cut with the push mower.

Purchased a 'reconditioned' unit but it arrived already broken
I wanted a lightweight electric mower so based on price, I decided to try this. It arrive in a box with virtually no packaging - rather like they threw it in and did no quality control. The plastic height adjustments on both front wheels were already broken so you could run it but only in the highest setting. We did turn it back in which meant we had to take it apart, pack it (I put packing in the box) and drive 40 minutes to a UPS store to send it back. The replacement arrived and it actually was packed OK. It was not broken and seems to run fine. Overall it seems to be inexpensive plastic so I am hoping it lasts a season or two. Of course I did buy based on price so maybe I am wrong to expect a sound item.

Pain to use
I like that it's very light weight but can't make a full run down my lawn without having to stop and empty the grass bag. Tried to use without the bag and can't because the grass shot out the back onto me and all over my face. I hate this mower. Wish I hadn't wasted my money on it. Would love to have one without the grass catching bag.

lovely lady user friendly mower
The size of the mower is very manageable for a lady user like myself. I could use it to mow the weed over 1 meter high. It's small and very powerful. It looks really cute like a green beetle. Recommend for ladies who mows.

Excellent value: Lightweight. moderately powerful, easy to use.
[ Refurbished, on sale@$70] Needed a quick and painless solution while "the beast" gets repaired. Works as intended after easy assembly.Light and powerful enough to maintain small to medium area - the main inconvenient is that it is narrow, so you may have to do many more passes than a wide mower. Chose to use it without the bag in the Spring, considering the area I had to do, and it proved strong enough for the job, with a caveat: Grass does not seem to eject or fall off efficiently enough if it's a bit long and accumulates, blocking the rear spring-loaded chute. However if your grass is short it should not be an issue since, as I said, I didn't use the collecting bag and this was the first Spring mowing of the year for me.All in all, quite happy with my purchase; I own multiple products from this company and they haven't let me down.
