Stains on the surface of my steel iron comes off easily. It builds well on a piece of rag and it does not create a mess. It removes stains once the iron reaches a high heat level and is applied on the surface of the rag. It gives the customer great value for the money spent. It is not too big; it comes in a good size. It does not take too long to remove stains.

This is a great product which cleans your iron well. Just follow the directions!

Ironing suddenly taking a long time? Making you pull your hair out? It probably needs cleaned, and this product will do it in just a few seconds. Full disclosure: I love ironing. There’s something soothing about it. I had been happily ironing every week since Christmas when suddenly my iron would not slide across any of my husbands shirts. I mean it refused to glide no matter what kind of material I put under it! So I ordered this iron cleaner, after googling what could be wrong. Google — and the back of the package this iron cleaner comes in — said it’s a build up of fabric softener and starch. Since I don’t plan to stop using either one, I’m glad that there’s plenty of product in the tube!

This Faultless Hot Iron Cleaner worked to remove a light amount of gunk on our iron. However, it took three 2" squirts out of the tube to get the job done. The instructions give the impression one squirt would do the trick. Also, please be aware if you do this on your ironing board, the cleaner is likely to leak through the cleaning cloth and get on the board's cover. This, in turn, necessitated washing the cover. I bought it because it was more affordable than the Rowenta kit (which comes with its own cleaning clothes, which the Faultless does not). I used my own cloths, which worked fine.

It removes any scorch stains.

Amazing product, cleaned my iron with tough burnt out fabric sticking on the plate. But do it outside, you have to heat the iron and wipe with it. This causes smoke that triggers the smoke alarm.

We used to keep throwing away or dump the iron device every time we realize it is time to throw away. I was just searching something like "iron box dirt cleaner" and this product poped up in the search results. Trust me! It worked like a charm and save another 50-100$ of investment that might have happened next 'N' years. Great product.I always bring back a couple of tiny towels from my hotel stay hoping it might be handy in crisis. Today I used one of the tiny towels (embezzled) and applied this paste or cream like toothpaste; turned on my iron device at the highest heating point and then rubbed it in clock-wise direction (you can move in any circular motion); it was full of smoke but it cleaned the base of the iron box. Thank you! I recommend it 100%. Note: You just need one to five drops of application to achieve the goal; the tube that I bought can hold up to another 4-5 boxes of dirts.

It works great. I use a soft white terry cloth and am careful not to touch the iron.
