Heavy enough to last a while but light enough to carry with you in a pack. Great for travel. Kept the water out during heavy rain because of the flaps over the zippers and drawstrings. Only drawback is that it does not breath like its higher priced cousins, but then they let more water through.

Bought this jacket for my husband. He like the choice and style. I'm glad I got the correct size as well; Large. He's 5'6 around 180 lbs. I ordered the light tan color, but in person, it's actually a couple of shades darker and on the "khaki color" side. Still, not a bad color overall, but just making you aware if you are looking for that light shade.Fit is good as I mentioned. But as another reviewer mentioned, it does run a "tad snug" around the hip area. SO, if you are a bit broader in that area, make sure to measure carefully or if needed, go up a size.Jacket isn't quite as lightweight as it states. But that's fine. If you are looking to layer clothing, then I HIGHLY SUGGEST SIZING UP! My husband tried this jacket on with a lightweight shirt.I gave four stars due the variance of color. Plus, one side of the toggle by the hood, was snapped off upon opening my delivery. I would have returned, but my husband said "don't bother." He instead fixed it with his own sewing skill hack.

This is the second rain coat I’ve purchased by this manufacturer. The first one was very nice but a teensy bit too small and it ripped due to my fault so I ordered a size up and it’s wonderful. Very nice-looking and super functional at keeping me dry in heavy rain. I’m very pleased and would recommend it without hesitation.mpass65

Great jacket. Just a bit tight at the waist

I can get hot easy and i live near the coast so it rains a lot. This jacket is perfect, no too hot, not too cold, its breathes well so I don't feel steamy in it. It works in the rain for the summer. I have had this for about 6 months now got it at the end of summer its now March, I used it most of the winter with both long and short sleeve shirts, until the few weeks that it snowed. The pockets are a good size, the logo on the front looks good too. I don't like wearing clothing that makes me look like a walking advertisement so a small embroidery type logo was fine.

It didn't fit me as expected but I have added on the 'quarantine 20' so maybe that's why?I'll update the 'stars' for waterproof when I have the opportunity to wear it in a 'driving' rain storm.I did expect nylon zippers but they are metal and I do find that to be a problem over time with any clothing designed to be worn in the rain. Also I gave it only 3 stars for 'warmth.' It has a mesh lining. Not sure who thought that mesh should be an insulator. The zippers have long 'pulls' on them so that is a very nice feature to have when the jacket is wet. The hood is removable, also a nice feature! Overall a very nice jacket. Worth the $$$.
