Biscotti Goddess Biscotti, Anise and Almond, 12 Count

This tastes more like my grandmother's biscotti than any other that I have tried. They are not individually wrapped and a few more were cracked, but t will take the taste (vanilla, anise, and almond) anytime.

I really like these. I get them on subscription with Amazon, so they are only $1.30 each. They don't appeal to everybody, because they are pretty strongly anise flavored. FYI - Anethole, according to Wikipedia, contributes a large component of the odor and flavor of anise and fennel. I, further, found on the internet that anise oil 80 is 95% anethole vs.50 to 70% anethole for fennel and licorice root may have 3% anethole.

This is absolutely delicious and the real thing... the anise is fresh smelling and tasting.. the almond flavor is much less pronounced (frankly I'd prefer no almonds, but the almonds seem to add crunch and not flavor). My paternal grandparents were from Italy and honestly this product is as good as the biscotti (actually just called anisette toast back in the day) they made.

There are not enough stars to rate this product... OMG... this took me right back to a back calle of venice Italy... I actually almost cried when I first tasted this biscotti, it literally transported me back to Italy... TREAT YOURSELF to this beyond words delight... this is what life is all about, sounds silly until you taste this...

My order arrived quickly and the biscotti were crisp and fresh. They were a smidge too sweet for me, but otherwise tasty.

very tasty and excellent size, also in nice large plastic bottle that we recycle and use for storage of flour, cereals. We also use the crumbsto mix with our cereal and this makes it very delicious.

These are so good tasting and very crunchy. I enjoy one with a cup of coffee either late morning or late afternoon. I will continue to order them.

Only 4 stars because they seem a little expensive for the amount you get.
