Sharp and beautiful
Use these scissors for embroidery and they are excellent…sharp and nice point on end. Beautiful in design, also.

Absolutely delightful!
I am an art photographer specializing in still life. Inspired by my grandmother, who was a consummate seamstress, I wanted to gather some convincing faux vintage pieces as props for a grouping of art pieces to honor her. I saw these scissors and didn't expect much -- but I ordered anyhow. I am thrilled with these! They arrived today. They are sharp (I suggest a knitting needle cap on the tips since they did not arrive with a tip cover). I'm sure they serve the purpose for embroidery scissors, etc., very well. They are crafted of stainless steel and seem sturdy. But for my own artistic purpose, they are elegant and look like something my grandmother would have adored. Amazon came through again!

Sharp thread clipper.
Extremely good little scissors. The color I ordered was copper but looks like to me a beautiful rose gold color. I love it. The point is very sharp and gets down to the finest thread clipping the first time. I made a “case” out of fabric and very heavy interfacing. Can’t seem to get a photograph on this review. The knitting needle covers work well. But something does need to cover the tip. The detail is exquisite with the flowers, etc. Thumb holes are comfortable. Would recommend.

Lovely Heirloom Scissors
UPDATE: I have bought four of these now -- three in the rose color, and one in silver. Two pairs I have kept for myself. The recent rose-colored pair was bought and sent to my Mother to have a pair like mine to sit next to her sewing machine while piecing her quilts. She absolutely loves these scissors! They are VERY sharp, and sturdy -- just pretty to hold.-------------Original Review---------I was originally looking for Ginghers scissors mainly for hand embroidery (and knitting). Then I saw these and loved the design! I figured why not! I could always send them back if I didn't like them. Well I do. They are solid scissors -- and very sharp! I used them yesterday to clip the jump-stitches on a machine-embroidered piece I had worked on and I was quite pleased with these. They were able to get into some really tiny spaces and clip small stitches.A lovely piece. Heirloom quality. I bought a silver pair to sit at my sewing machine while piecing my quilts and for machine embroidery.I do recommend. :)

These are my favorite embroidery/sewing scissors
Love these scissors. They are very sharp and are the perfect size for trimming threads without getting in the way of the embroidery. Be very careful of the point though. I was placing the scissors on the table and got my other hand in the way and the point of the scissors went in about 1/8”. It hurt and brought me back to paying attention to what I was doing. Excellent scissors and love the design. They feel nice and heavy, not flimsy. Both pieces line up perfectly and you don’t have to “saw” through the thread like some less expensive scissors. These are the ones I look for when I sit down to sew.

Beautful, Sharp and a Great Value!
I bought the Yueton Vintage European Style Plum Blossom (say that 10 times fast) scissors based on the reviews and also for their looks. Scissors are scissors -- but it doesn't mean they have to be plain! And they are not -- they are in fact quite lovely. But looks aren't everything -- since they are meant for close-up work with fabric and thread, they need to be sharp, all the way to their tips. These scissors did not disappoint -- they are very, very sharp. (And remember -- to keep them that way longer, only use them on fabric and thread -- paper is a no-no.)I got the copper-colored pair, and I am so impressed that I plan to get at least one more pair in a different finish. I do a lot of bead embroidery, and since I tend to have multiple projects going at any given time, I find it useful to have more than one pair. I have always been a fan of Gingher, but these are (in my opinion) at least as good quality, and definitely a better value.

Makes me feel fancy-happy.
I have used a good number of embroidery scissors in my life. These are my absolute favorite. Looking at them makes me feel happy, but like fancy-happy. Like that feeling you get while watching Pride and Prejudice underneath a warm comforter while drinking a warm cup of tea. Or like when you see the Dowager Countess land a sick burn on Isobel Crawley. They are the perfect size for my hands and very comfortable to hold. They look amazing; tons of detail on all of the little blossoms and scroll work. The finish is also very nice and reminds me of a antique rose gold. They are super sharp with a great amount of tension. My Gingher embroidery scissors always wind up stabbing me because I can't seem to tighten them enough. They've been great for precision work on cross-stitch, embroidery, and general hand sewing.
