I have purchased containers from both Zwilling and Vakuen for testing. These Zwilling containers are glass and very durable. The weight is considerable and sometimes difficult to grip. I have had few issues with sealing, but the thickness of the lids limits the volume of the container and 1/2" down from the rim must be perfectly clean to seal. I like Zwillings variety of containers in both glass and plastic , their App to keep track of foods stored, and their customer service response. I am disappointed that they don't offer replacement gaskets and vacuum valves (a weak point in the system). Customer service responded promptly that no parts are available, but that they would offer replacement lids or containers if I sent photos. The Vakuen containers are only in plastic, but are durable , and I like their gasket and valve system better. If Vakuen offers replacement parts, that may make my decision. For now, I will continue to evaluate both systems and keep both. I have adapted my Foodsaver to provide vacuum for both, alleviating the added expense of multiple vacuum pumps to fit different systems. UPDATE 03/25 Both companies had some issues with sealing. The Vakuen had issues with the seal at the edge of the container at the corner , and Zwilling had issues with the valve itself getting loose and falling out after several months of use. They are small enough to get lost. Neither company offers parts available for purchase, but both offered a free replacement part, at least as a one time goodwill offer. I have encouraged both companies to offer parts. The first one that does, will probably get my repeat business. UPDATE 05/13/25 Every Vakuen container failed to seal at the corners. The gasket inverted and leaked on every one. I liked their clear plastic containers and the sizes available, but the main purpose is to HOLD a VACUM. Zwilling has my recommendation and my business. Zwilling offers plastic containers as well, but they are a frosted look and I would prefer clear, but that's a minor drawback. The Zwilling lids and gaskets are very thick and take up space in the container but THEY HOLD A VACUM.

For anyone seeking an efficient and reliable solution for food storage, these containers are undoubtedly worth every penny. So, go ahead and give your food the quality storage it deserves. Your future self (and your taste buds) will thank you!

I love these and the whole Zwilling system. I use these frequently to save food and track expiration dates. These glass containers are very sturdy. They are worth the investment.

My friend has a Zwilling vacuum sealer. It works great.I have a chef preserve vacuum sealer. It also works great.BUT… I wanted more glass storage containers, and was surprised to discover that Zwilling the glass containers are half the price and work with either device.I was skeptical, but took a chance and sure enough, these containers are great quality and half the price of other brands.

The glass 3 pack has been working perfectly. We have experienced NO lost pressure at any time.There is 1 exception however, hence the 4 stars.After sealing a container, releasing the air can be difficult due to the seal being very effective. When trying to release the pressure, it sometimes does take some effort which usually results in the plug popping out. This really isn't an issue because it will pop right back in. In fact, I consider it a plus because the pressure holds strong when stored.So, if you have finger strength issues, arthritis or the likes, you may have to use a utensil of some type to assist with releasing the pressure.

Love the ZWILLING vacuum system. These are small, but very good quality. I’ve had them for several months possibly a year. I use them regularly and wash them (all parts) in the dishwasher. They’ve held up nicely and still keep a vacuum. If the size is right for you, I eagerly recommend these.

I have purchased several of these, and wish I saved my money. I thought they stayed closed, and airtight. I estimate half of them unseal in the freezer after about two weeks. They do not prevent freezer burn, so do not buy these if you are looking for something that stays closed in the freezer.
