Q: How does this attach to glass?

Hi Abby, we recommend using a silicone adhesive/caulk to apply the Fernwood panels to glass.

Q: Can this be used to mount staghorn ferns?

We would recommend Fernwood's Orchid board for this application. The boards are thicker and better able to support the larger structure of Staghorn Ferns.

Q: How do you attach plants to the Fernwood?

It depends on the plant. You can use superglue (it was developed for surgeries after all) or small zip ties (drill holes first), or wire which you can probably just poke through the board. For vines, hair pins, clipped to the correct length, work. Be sure to attach snugly, but not so tightly that the plant is damaged as it grows.
