Got carried away with all the great reviews on this product. This wrap does retain heat, but I did not pay too much attention to the filling. This filling makes this wrap very heavy on the neck and shoulders. This heaviness restricts movement of the neck and adds to the pain. Thought it would be like my old one, which was battery operated for warmth and massage and made of simple velour, making it light and comfortable. Of course these fantastic ones are discontinued, cannot for some kind of reason be found any more, so what choice did I have!

I had an excruciating case of occipital neuralgia related to stiff neck (blaming all those Zoom meetings!). This neck wrap was sent to me as a 'get well' gift. I was skeptical it would actually provide any relief but I observed immediate results, particularly improved range of motion and decreased pain. Other perks - it is very soft and feels nice against my skin, stays put well so no need to adjust once secured in the elastic band, AND it has a wonderful, relaxing aroma. I have been using this every morning to try to relieve any neck muscle tension. 5 stars+!

I have many of these heating-pad-type things that I have collected over the years, and this is by far the best. It is incredibly soft, but what really sets it apart is that it is completely filled from end to end - there is no shifting of the inner filling that leaves gaps as in pretty much all of my other ones. Also, it covers the entire neck - higher in the back and completely around the front. The other feature that is better than all my other ones is the elastic loop that holds the opposite end, so that you can make it as snug as you'd like, and it stays put! Highly recommend - I have already bought another one in a different configuration.

This neck wrap is amazing. I have arthritis in my neck so always heat up a neck wrap to lay on in bed. My old wrap filling was always bunching - not a problem with this wrap due to the stitching that holds the filling in place. The material is a good quality, the royal blue exactly as pictured. The elastic that goes under the chin holds the two ends together firmly. Bonus, this wrap puts heat on my jaw, which eases the tension there. This is a well thought out, quality product. I wouldn’t change a thing.

Yes it is a soft covering but... it is very heavy and hard as concrete. You are unable ti turn your head or move your neck . Actually painful for someone who has neck issues.
