Paramedic Flashcard Book + Online

good for the flash cards

As the other reviewers have reported here, the access code provided with the book does not grant access to any online practice exam, or the "seven medical reference charts that you can return to time and again". Moreover, when I used the access code I was given access the  EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) Crash Course Book + Online (EMT Test Preparation) , a completely different product from the same publisher. Now, of course, you can find the "Paramedic Flashcards: Online Practice Exam" on the publisher's website and there is a way for me to purchase access to the practice exam (for a small fee of only $9.95!!!), and I assume the promised charts as well (I don't know for sure since I didn't check), but I don't think I should shell out another $9.95 for something that is promised right on the front cover, and in the Amazon description.So to summarize, access code does not give access to anything promised right on the cover of the book, no practice exam, no medical reference charts, nada. I have emailed the publisher to see why they use fraudulent statements in the description of the product. I will update this review when I hear back. Wasn’t useful for NREMT paramedic prep !

Meant to buy the emt not paramedic book. Looked through the book. It’s amazing.It’s not tear off flash cards.Will be getting the EMTs book.

I bought this book because it says "Online Practice Exam" and "Medical reference Charts online". NOWHERE on the front or back covers, or in the intro pages that you can read in the "Look Inside" pages does it say that you'll have to pay more for these features. I received the book today, logged in online, and you can't do anything online without paying ANOTHER $25.85! This book is a waste of money if you are trying to assess yourself for the NREMT-P exam.
