Great colors and a portable case!
Love the portable case! I got this for my 5 year old grandson, since he likes to work alongside his big sister. The quality and colors are excellent! Blend nicely. Easy and fun to use.

These oil pastels from Faber-Castell are perfect! They finally got me excited about adult coloring!! I previously tried colored pencils and traditional crayons to no avail.I do enjoy the Ohuhu markers I purchased on Amazon but these oil pastels are better because I don’t stress about having them around my bed or my couch.I’m thrilled I got the 24 pack! & I very much appreciate the nifty carrying case!

Very nice pastels
I love pastels and the effect they have on the drawing. The colors are very pigmented and rich. I have used non-oil pastels in the past and they are more like chalk with dust coming off, these are more "sticky" since they are oil-based. I have found that you cannot use color pencil or markers/Sharpie with these pastels, nothing else goes over it. You can only use other oil pastels to blend. It does blend well but it is not as easy to blend because of the sticky nature of the pastels. I still like these though. When my boys tire of using Sharpie or color pencils, these pastels cover more ground and provide deeper color with less use of the hand.

Durable, richly pigmented
It really doesn't get better than these when it comes to getting value for your money.There's a great mix of colors and the pastels are EXTREMELY durable. I'm a very hard writer and I'm known for accidentally breaking crayons. I was so surprised that these pastels weren't breaking, that I *tried* to break one by pressing really hard and coloring back and forth. I literally couldn't break it.I love these pastels, they're the perfect choice for beginners and great for kids too. The carrying case keeps everything organized and doesn't take up much space.
