These book ends are very nice. They were not working for what I had originally intended as they need the weight of books on either side to keep them from slipping, so I am now using them to hold books upright instead of paperwork. They are fine with books which obviously they were made for. Very pretty design and color too.

These bookends are arty, well-made, sturdy, and capable of supporting 7 or more heavy hardcover books. The small felt discs on the bottom of the base keep the bookends from slipping on fabric or wood. They have not marred the finish of my dresser. They are prettier than conventional bookends and add a touch of class to my little book zone.

These leaf bookends have character, are sturdy, and take up no extra space on my small table. Both utilitarian and aesthetically pleasing, I'm very satisfied with them. My only wish is that I could find other bookends of a similar nature for some variety, but I may eventually buy another set of these leaf bookends because they are so pleasing to me.
