I can now chuck my cookware into my tiny dishwasher without fear. No more fiddling with handles and such.They're simple to use, and the design is rather appealing. I think they could use a little more energy to hold the plates more tightly.However, that is not a deal breaker for me. These are amazing value considering the unbelievably cheap price. If you’re looking for ‘grippers’ to move a lightly loaded hot plate or bowl these do the job … but they are “lightweight” construction with thinner stainless steel construction than others I’ve recently purchased (at three times the price).
