Another one of my must-haves for festivals
A buddy of mine swears by FlyBy. He always raves about how well it works for him so I finally decided to give it a try. I wouldn’t say I’m prone to hangovers but I do have those days where I wake up with a killer headache. It usually goes away after a while but I’d gladly skip it altogether.Anyways…so I bought a bottle of the stuff from Amazon. Seemed a little pricey given that theres only 30 capsules but if it works, I’m all up for it. The timing was actually pretty good. I had a music festival that I was going to the day after I received the product so I went and gave it a try. My ears are usually the first thing to bother me at festivals but I got some music earplugs to help reduce the stress on my eardrums. I was hoping that FlyBy would be another “life hack” I could use for festivals. The label says that you need to take three capsules before you start drinking so that’s what I did. I ended up drinking a fair bit that night so I’m glad I brought them. It was pretty late when I went to bed. I ended up taking another three capsules and passed out shortly afterward. The next morning when I woke up, I didn’t have the usual headache that plagues me. I felt a little tired and dehydrated but that’s nothing a little water can’t fix. So I would say that the capsules do work…I can see why my friend always talks about them. The only thing is that I wish you didn’t have to take so many. In total, you have to take six capsules so a bottle really won’t last you long at all. I read that some people just take the three beforehand and it works so I’m gonna try that next time. The capsules themselves are fairly large as well so they can be difficult to swallow for some people.A list of pros and cons for those who don’t want to read the wall of text-PROS:- It works, you’ll feel a lot better in the morning compared to if you didn’t take the capsules- The capsules don’t have any weird taste- You can easily take it out with you so that you can take it when you have to take it- You won’t feel as dehydrated the next dayCONS:- You have to take six capsules in total each time before and after drinking- I wish it was cheaper- It requires a bit of thinking and planning on your part- The capsules are big at least its a lot bigger than what I’m used toIn conclusion, this is a good product that helps with preventing hangovers. I wouldn’t say that you’ll feel 100% the next morning if you take them but at the very least you’ll notice a difference. For me, the headaches were minimal the following day. I’m not a fan of having to take six capsules each time but at least it works. It can’t hurt to try anyway so I would recommend it anyway. I’ll probably give it four and a half stars!

Don’t forget to take a few bottles if you’re going on be drinking heavily on a cruise.
== updated in Oct 2019 ==I know there isn’t sufficient scientific evidence to backup the claims made by the manufacturer of this product; however, it worked very well previously on a cruise. The same company sells “Hang Zero,” which promises the same effects but costs a lot less. So, I gave “Hang Zero” a try, expecting the same wonderful experience I had with Flyby. Long story short—I tried “Hang Zero” several times, but I was just as hungover as I would have been without. So, I went back and purchased a big bottle of Flyby...and it’s been working great.== original review from Sept 2019 below ==I’ve tried similar products before, and I haven’t noticed any effects. Since this product seemed different and the fakespot report was excellent, though, I gave it a try—as I went on a cruise, fully intending on partying day and night for 7 days. I am a vodka drinker and, OMG, w/ 3 capsules before and 3 capsules after overindulging each day, I wake up fresh w/o headaches or the usual “ugh” semi-nauseous feelings. In particular, one day, I was forced into mixing vodka and (cheap) champagne all evening, and I knew I was going to suffer the following morning...but, seriously, I woke up just fine—feeling fresh. This review is beginning to sound fake, so I will include the negatives. First, when 6 capsules per day are required, and that’s a lot of capsules to consume each time. And a bottle of 30 only covers 5 days! It’s certainly my fault that I didn’t realize this until I was already on the ship, but people in similar situations should be aware of this. Also, the capsules are a bit tough to swallow, and I would really love it if the doses could somehow be more condensed.Despite these areas of improvement (and I do realize my experience may be due to placebo effect), I give this product enthusiastic thumbs up.

Worth Buying for Partiers at Every Level
Bottom line, I believe this product works. It's certainly a better post-drinking experience than just drinking water or eating food does. I also think this works better than Drinkade. Drinkade would clear my head like magic the morning after but my still slightly roiling stomach was always testament to last night's escapades. The Flyby formula seems to be able to correct for that and makes for a great morning after experience. So I rarely get severe hangovers as long as I eat and have some water before bed (which I believe is because while I still drink 5-6 drinks on a big night out, it's a vast improvement on my party school college days). The next day is usually just a bit run down. Hangover cures like Flyby make it feel almost like I hadn't drunk at all. It's scary effective. Like magic demon potion effective. My partner, on the other hand, has always had severe hangovers whether he had two tallboy beers or took shots all night. Hangover cures for him always have 1/3 effectiveness. The next morning the cures leave him functional, which he claims is still a miracle blessing. His experience with Flyby is that it's more the behavior monitoring is what worked. Making sure to eat with the doses and have the water before bed ensured he wasn't flying off the rails. Which makes sense and why overall, I still believe this product does work as a hangover cure. Would definitely buy again!

I can’t sleep after taking these
These somewhat work. I do feel less hungover the morning after taking them however it might be because I chug a huge glass of water when I take these before bed. I also feel extremely tired and some hangover anxiety because I can’t sleep when I take these. I take them, fall asleep and then I’m awake about 2 hours later and toss and turn feeling wide awake and then get anxiety about not getting any sleep. When I actually do sleep I have very weird dreams with these. My wife uses them without issue. I am also one of those people who have the opposite reactions to Advil PM and Benadryl where it keeps me awake so perhaps it’s a similar chemical reaction in my body. I’ll probably continue to use them prior to drinking at like 5pm and then use a different product before bed.

Hit or miss
Sometimes these work really well, and some other times not as well. They are definitely better than nothing. But the reason I wanted to write this review is because some people are giving this product a bad review stating that it was moldy or smelled rotten. The pills are not moldy, they oxidize after being open to air. I knew that already because I take vitamins regularly and this happens a lot and it totally normal and safe to take. But if you don’t believe me just read the product description on this page. It even says “Oxidation can naturally cause black specs on the capsules. This is a normal process when the capsules are exposed to air after you open the package. The capsules are safe to consume and the oxidation will not reduce efficacy.” As for the smell, anyone who has taken anything with b vitamins in it knows that the smell is absolutely terrible and that is normal. Some people might say it smells like rotten fish, and that is not a mold smell. People, please do some research before assuming something is moldy and leaving a bad review for no reason.
