Poor quality. Does not fit goldwing gl1200. Diameter and length are to big to fit in factory housing

This does not fit a 86 gl1200 honda goldwing 1200 aspencade. the ad says it does, but the hose diameter is different. I did a weird step up thicker adapter thing that just made it leak and almost caught fire to my bike.

This is a Complete , No Fit...this gas filter ports will not fit...they are to large in diameter. Even if you change the lines the fittings on the bike are now too small.

I ordered these for a 2001 honda shadow spirit vt750dc. Was a great fit. And the one I installed did not leak. They feel cheaper made then oem. But it seems to do the job. My issue is the 2nd one is in my opinion unusable as there is a large drip of extra glue or adhesive dripping down the outlet side of the filter. If even a peice of that were to come off it would probaby ruin the fuel pump or atleast cuase issues further down the line. I was in a pinch and this listing said it could be delivered the soonest. I think I would look elsewhere next time for a better filter.
