There are a couple ways to drink water and pour at the same time. Method 1: pour water into your mouth from the cup. 2: use two cups. Pour water out of this cup while drinking from another.

Q: I'm seeing several references to this being ~24 oz or 3 C capacity, but it's advertised as 1.25 Qt (36 oz or 5 cups). Which is it?

They sell this in two sizes. The R200-10 is 0.7 quarts which is a little shy of 24 oz. The R200-12W is 1.25 quarts which is 40 oz or 5 cups.

Measure the msr stove. The small 10cm mug is about 4 inches in diameter. You can cut cardboard or use a plastic lid to eyeball it. The 10cm holds about 22oz so two cups (16oz) of water fits perfectly with room for a roiling boil.
