Okay product, could use quality control
EDIT*** the seller has reach out and rectified the situation, so I am happy with the product/order.I ordered two packs of this... which was too much, but one wasn't enough. Good thing I got two, because about 15 of them *from each pack* where not up to par for quality. They were either cut very thin or never fully expanded, and others were proper thickness but had "tags" at the peaks about a half-inch tall. Sound dampening was as expected. Had to use a crap-ton of adhesive spray to get them to stick to the wall. The sticky squares that Amazon recommends you buy with them stick to the wall, but not the foam, so don't buy those. Have heard mixed reviews with velcro-like products, didn't try that method. Probably would go with a different supplier if I order this again in the future.

Game room must!
These foam boards are light as feathers! I went with black in color and mounted them around my game room. Installing them was fairly simple with some small nails. They look sleek and clean and have a nice design to really make your room pop! These are very durable and work very well!

Pretty descent product for the price, actually do recommend.
Ok. Let me start by saying these arent top studio quality acoustc pannels, those will set you back a lot more than these. HOWEVER, for the price and the quantity you're actually getting a good deal out of this. There's some reviews saying these didn't expand or that they came defective, and as someone who's bought this product twice, I can confirm that a handful indeed do come thinner, but out out of the 2 times ive bought this product, only the second batch I ordered had defective panels, and it was only 4 or them, I counted. As for the foam not growing to its proper size, I didnt have any issues with that. I put then in a spare room for a few days and let them sit there untouched and they expanded just fine. Addressing the thickness of the foam, I actually measured it and there are 3cm from the base of the foam to the top of the wedge, which is about 1 inch, exactly as advertised (bear in mind im excluding the defective units from this claim, as these arent even 1cm thick). The panels also arent all the same size, although most do reach 31cm each side, which is the equivalent of 12in. So to restate my point, this product has great value for the price. The thickness of the foam is as advertised (1 inch or 3cm), the panels, although very slightly varying in their dimensions, are generally 12x12in (or 31x31cm), the faulty units are few and can be counted on a single hand, and they do indeed expand (WITH TIME) to their advertised size.I want to add a section to advise those who cannot get these to stick on their walls. FIrst off, any double sided adhesive tape or command strips will not stick. These will stick to the wall just fine, but the foam is too porous and will come off extremely fast, lets say, 10-15 minutes from the time you stuck the panels to the wall. Instead, I recommend using a heavy duty constructive adhesive, such as DynaGrip (I tried several brands, and even though they mostly all work the same, I feel like this ones a tad more sturdier than its alternatives), which comes both in a squeezing tube and and a tbe that requires a pump gun or whatever theyre called. I add glue in dollops, in approx. 1x1x1cm size, 3 times on each side of the panel, ergo 4 on the corners and 4 in the spaces between the corners (so 8 dollops of adhesive) as well as the middle, Im sure you could get away with just the corners and the centre, but I found that this way the panels will not fall even if you lean your entire body on them (I tested this, and my cat also jumped on one and the panel didnt even budge, and she is one hell of a chonker). With the adhesive on the foam you can spread it with your finger or a stick or a paint knife, or anything really, and then just stick it to the wall. After that just press the panel on each of the zones in which you put glue (not for a long time, just give each zone a quick press and thats it, do it twice if you want to be cautious). The adhesive sticks on cement, wood, drywall, and even on metal. It will even work if you want to stick your panels to the roof, no problem with that, just make sure you give the roof panels a hard squeeze to make sure gravity doesnt tear it off while its drying. If youre looking to make a home studio or just fix a terribly sounding room, this is an awesome deal that wont break your bank. They actually d help the sound. REMEMEMBER, these will NOT soundproof your room, these will only treat the echo you can hear inside a room. I recommend complimenting these panels with carpets and rugs, as well as corner bass absorber blocks.Im uploading images of the panels individually, how they look hung up on a wall, what the defective units look like, the measured thickness of the foam, the adhesive I used to hand mine up, and the way I spread the adhesive for anyone that requires help with that. Also, I've already had these panels on my walls and roof for 4 weeks, still holding up perfectly.4 stars out of 5, the missing star is due to the defective units.

Quality is inconsistent.
I bought 2x52. They come vacuum sealed and tightly packed. The instructions say to give it 24 hours to normalize. I gave 48 hours. The thickest one I got ended up being 7/8" thick at most, and they are not perfect squares. So I would say that 44 of them came normal. 18 of them were of a medium thickness. 20 of them were very thin. 22 of them were abnormal, for example: half of the square was normal and the other half was thin, or had some other kind of a noticeably awkward abnormality. I would rate the product 2 stars, but the lower price of the item saves it a star. About $.66 a square is fair enough. I just expected a bit better consistency with the quality of the item.

They are pretty good!
They work pretty well! I had these in my car and they dampened my music, ha! Not what I had in mind when I bought them but yea they seem to do the job. Most definitely will buy some more sometime.
