Why did you pick this product vs others?:We live in the desert and this large window faces west, getting full sun after noon. We have screens on the outside of the window, but in the summer, the heat that comes in is too intense to keep the interior blackout blinds up. We used this same tint on another window and it helped knock down the heat immensely. In the picture, you can see the left side with the tint and the center untainted, for reference.Overall, very easy to install. The hardest part was separating the cellophane cling from the tint. If ypu run into a bunch of bubbles, pull the tint up and spray more water. The wetter the surface when you install, the fewer bubbles (and easier to remove).

Most important is to take note there is a clear backing that needs removed from this film. To the people who say this doesn't stick well, you probably need to remove the clear backing. This information is found in the instructions. We have a large picture window connected to a bedroom that we wanted to prevent people from seeing in the bedroom. We were able to cut this film into squares to size what is needed. You can see in one of the photographs that we have it on some squares and not on the others to demonstrate that where the film is not located people can see into the room and where the film is located is a mirror protecting our privacy. The photo of the pool with the clubhouse is the view looking outside the window to show we still have a clear view even through the film. I recommend this product and I highly recommend reading the instructions.

Absolutely love this product! I used it on my front door. Soo easy to apply. It blocks exact images but allows the light to come through. Could not be more satisfied!

I used it on a brand new window and it was hard to get water bubbles out. Darkens room a little more than I prefer but the privacy is worth it

Positive: window is cooler. Negative: Can see through inside and outside so not a privacy film.

Easy to place on window, looks great! Purpose was for window privacy. Works great! Now I can open shades to get light in without someone looking in!!
