This stuff stinks - it has no hint of lilac. and, it's the polar opposite of "refreshing". It literally smells like old piss filtered through a cheap, scented tampon. AND, the COMPANY DOES NOT ALLOW REFUNDS. I pursued it through Amazon and was able to wrangle a deal where they refund the money onto the card I bought it with, and I don't need to return the disgusting "camel piss."I've had one product from Picard that I sort of liked, but this is the last time I buy any of their products, on principal! Obviously the product has long gone past its shelf life and turned rancid. But, they still push it on us consumers with impunity. Not on this consumer!!

My father was a barber and always used this product after giving a haircut and/or shave. The scent is so fresh and the feel refreshing. It not only brings back memories it actually brightens my mornings. Try it and take yourself back to the good old days.

This is one of the nicest things I could have done for my face / self. The fragrance is very unusual, very desirable and is nicely balanced (masculine / feminine).It does not smell like urine. For those saying it does, it must not agree with your body chemistry.Your body chemistry has to fit the fragrance therefore, the fragrance may not be suitable for everyone. It’s hard to tell when you have no option but to buy blind. Perhaps this may help... if you’re one of those types where you seem to fall into the “not typical” or “not normal,” then it may just be for you.My skin is very sensitive and acts up with many products. I find this does NOT happen with Pinaud. Also, I have noticed from trying other Pinaud After Shave products, their After Shave lotions solve razor burn immediately and do not dry my face out, even in the dead of winter.

My dad used this product when I was a girl but he had been unable to find it locally. He does not use the internet and when we talked about this not too long ago and that fact that he has been unable to purchase it for the past 15 years, I did a search on Amazon, found it, and had it sent directly to him. He was thrilled to receive it and couldn't belie I had found it. I love the lightly scented floral notes that are classically old-fashioned, manly not feminine, and remind me of happy days with my dad and of my youth. So happy I was able to find this for both of us!! Cheers!!

It's not the same smell that the product had back in the 70's. People nearby said it was too pungent an odour. It's headed to the garbage as amazon and the manufacturer won't refund. A waste of money and time searching for nostalgia.
