Pachmayr02482 Diamond Pro Ruger Grips, LCR,Black

This is an excellent grip! The complaints about the loose fit is easily fixed with a blow dryer. It shrinks the rubber down to a perfect custom fit. Also I had no problem removing the grip as another have noted in some previous reviews. Buy with confidence.

By far, the most comfortable grip for my LCR. When a snubby goes off, it's a real hand full. These grips make mincemeat of a snubby's recoil. Yes, they're a little chubby, but that handswell does a great job of keeping recoil down. I will shoot my weapon more now that I have these grips. Always better to practice when there is no pain.

Fits perfect on the Ruger LCR ( in any caliber all the same frame size) nice rubber texture, also provides a full grip, and comes with a new hold down screw. As for concealment that will depend on holster and body type, durability seems it will last.

It's good, lets you get a full grip, and will probably help recoil control and accuracy, but I think it makes firearm print a bit more. Also, since the stock grip is on with a regular screw, and this one requires a star head, it should come with the tool to install it.

I was hesitant to change out the really good Ruger hogue mono-grip that comes standard on the LCR but after a couple good range sessions I felt I needed just a little more to hold on to and this fit that need perfectly. My LCR is in .357 and I wear a 4-5 glove meaning I have just slightly larger than average hand size. The Pachmayr adds half an inch to the handle and really allows a full grip including the pinky. Super soft in the V notch and the diamond checkering provides a good balance between grip and smooth draw. It's also a little fatter in the heal of the hand, perfect to help control the .357. Nice torx screw and included wrench, the fit and finish are excellent and the price is right on target.

There is a bit of looseness at the very top of the pistol grip near the trigger,on both sides of a Ruger LCR short barrel .38sp+p. It's not a deal killer,but it's an area that could potentially get sand,dirt and lint in between the frame and the pistol grip. I have an old (?1983) Ruger Security-six, with Pachmayr grips,that do not have this thin construction .On the positive side however, the grip does provide an extra quarter inch over the original grip,which allows a better grip with the little finger. May be not a big deal to most but I take a size 8 surgical glove,and I don't believe that my hand size or grip is more than the average man's hand. I do think that little bit of extra grip helps stabilize the gun/hand when using heavy loads like Buffalo Bore 38SP+P, in a snubby revolver that weighs less than 14 ounces unloaded.

I just installed this on my Ruger LCR .38 SPL and these grips so far feel great !!!...It gives you that pinky finger grip that the Hogue grip doesn't...I'm going to the range this weekend to shoot it. For me this is what I've been looking for in a grip since I bought the gun. Hoping for a more controlled shot group. Pachmayr make the best grips IMO.****Update******Shot it for the first time at the range and loved the feel of it. It gave me a better control shot group like I hoped it would. It's just something about the 5 finger grip that's awesome. With this being a ultra lite weapon you need to be able to control it. It even felt like it helped with the shock to the palm you get shooting this weapon. All in all I am very satisfied with my purchase. thanks Pachmayr
