Metra 95-9311B Double DIN Stereo Dash Kit

There were no videos available on this exact part number, so I was relieved when it all went together. There was one question answered on Amazon by the “manufacturer” that said a double din Pioneer unit wouldn’t fit. That coupled with no video bugged me. It’s together except for the final fitment of the head unit. The pair of harnesses and the emergency brake bypass (no longer sold on Amazon - coming from eBay) are said to be arriving tomorrow. That’s the hardest part of course, the wiring. Excellent kit from Metra.

I had an older double din lying around and really didn't want to cut the hvac to fit it in so this kit is a good work around. idk why people are leaving negative reviews about the radio sticking out too much, that's the whole point of the kit lol if it didn't stick out you'd have to cut the air box and this kit would be pointless. one thing to note is if you have a manual car with a longer shifter, it might hit the radio so you might have to go back to stock shifter.

En mi caso solo utilice la sección para el A/C El producto cumple, solo que está versión solo es para los que tiene la botonera de BMW corrida, para los de botones separados no sirve, además las otra sección donde va el estereo en lo personal se ve horrible en este modelo de BMW, el material si es bueno, tiene buen terminado como satinado, pero si realmente podrías ahorrarse la parte de arriba o venderla por separado por qué en mi casa para mí no sirve de nada

Although this product is sold out of Amazon Australia, it does not fit right hand drive BMW e46s. I can't see any mention of this being for left hand drive only in the description of the product.

Might have to wipe it regularly of dust and particles but overall is a really good product. Affordable and better than spending $80 on the standalone hvac relocation kit. Easy to install as well.
