My review of the Deluxe Edition
Infamous was a bland album which focused more on sounding like other albums, rather than developing something unique. A great number of songs borrowed massively from the sounds of other artists such as Marilyn Manson, Slipknot, and Bleeding Through to name a few. While this in itself sounds like an intriguing concept, it’s been poorly executed here. With this in mind, I’m here to talk about the newly revised version of the album; not the original release.I actually rather enjoyed Motionless in White’s album Creatures, despite finding every band that fell under the category of ‘metal-core’ to be rather generic and dry (besides a few very talented artists). I enjoyed Creatures; not because it was innovative or creative, but because it was fun to listen to. Creatures had a very unique atmosphere; unlike most bands of the genre, Motionless in White centered their themes on horror films and Gothic imagery. I can admit that because of this, I was very excited to see what they did on their sophomore release. After being severely disappointed by the original release of Infamous, then came the deluxe edition which after reading more about, I discovered was completely re-hauled and served as a far more satisfying record in comparison to the original Infamous. While it still lacks in its lyrical department, this re-issue of Infamous proved to be light years ahead of its predecessor. Vocally, a lot has been altered; this is good in some areas, but not in others. While the delivery of the clean vocals on the previous release sounded extremely unimpressive and often times terrible; here they sound almost robotic and overly compressed, giving a flat sound to them. Some of the lowly screamed vocals sound like they’ve been heavily altered and they often times sound very unimpressive and fake. The Marilyn Manson-esque vocals on the third track ‘AMERICA’ have been surprisingly replaced by a deeper, more unique sounding set of vocals; as well as more varying vocals from low to high screams. Some of the songs like ‘Devil’s Night’ sound more original on this release than they did previously due to the fact that ‘Devil’s Night’ sounded like a carbon copy of Slipknot’s ‘Psychosocial’ both vocally and instrumentally. Here, it sounds similar in its riff, but that’s about it. Another example of vocal changes are the more frequent uses of Chris Cerulli’s extremely high shrieks which seemed almost absent on the previous release of the album. In my opinion, one of the higher points of Creatures was the vocals, which were very unimpressive on the sophomore release. The mix itself has been drastically changed on this edition of Infamous; the instruments often come off as flat and hollow, despite being instrumentally better than the original in the fact that riffs have become more complex and some solos have been thrown in. This version of the album is also extended as it features two new songs as well as three remixes and one alternate version of the song ‘AMERICA’. The new tracks ‘Fatal’ and ‘Sick from the Melt’ are both rather promising and both stand out as above average songs while at the same time adding to the album. The overall sound on this edition of the album is more like their previous album ‘Creatures’ each song brings back the familiar atmosphere ‘Creatures’ created and I’d highly suggest this album to anyone who enjoyed ‘Creatures’ but was fairly disappointed with Infamous.

Motionless in White produces a great sound for all hard rock fans looking for that new sound
If you need a wake up call to a mix of beauty & thrash, this is it with this band!! My son introduced me to them & now I own almost all their albums, 😆 Wake up to Motionless in White if you want a newer hard sound, sometimes interlaced with softer lyrics that go from 25 - 90 mph in a second. Worth the money!!

Great addition to my library
MIW better than I thought. I'm not into a lot of the music they toss in their category. I had heard a few tracks that included motionless, think off In this moment maybe. Took a shot on their latest album, at first it sounds a bit off. Clumsy or arranged wrong. Then songs start standing out, you start paying more attention... not bad. Not a death grunt band or screaming the whole time. Though it's in there. Fan base seems solid & loyal. Take a look @ America on YouTube, follow that around. Somethings sure to catch your interest. Another thing I like; albums are different. They shift their sound around, keeping it MIW yet experimenting with other vocals/sounds.If your looking for something new to listen too, worth checking out especially if you like (d) Nails, industrial...Peace

Buy the deluxe edition
Buy the deluxe edition. I don't exactly know why but this version of the album sounds drastically different from the original version. The original is not bad at all it has a very industrial feel which is cool. But this version is way more heavy. If you're a fan of them then buy this. Every track is great. Chris experiments with his vocal delivery a little bit and the result is awesome. The whole band put a lot of work into this and it's worth listening to do yourself a favor and give it a spin.

Are You Infamous?
This album, this is the album that actually got me hooked on this band, the Single "Devil's Night", I remember watching that video and going wow, this.. this makes me feel pretty good, the second single i remember hearing on Music Choice "America", If you even think about checking out this band or already have, start of with this album, then "Reincarnate", then check out "Creatures", then if you love them that much check out their first two "The Whorror" and "When Love Met Destruction".This would be the last album to Feature drummer Angelo Parente on drums.

One Infamous Band
If you like your rock and metal with a seriously evil twist, this is the band for you! This group is flagrant in their horror movie imagery and shows what other bands only wish they had the guts(every pun intended!) to show in their videos. Songs included are Devil's Night, Divine Infection, Sinematic, and If It's Dead We'll Kill It. You get the idea. If you like dark, speed, thrash, and death metal with, in some songs, a White/Rob Zombie sound, this is the band for you! Turn it up!

Excellent quality CD, and great album!
The product came a day before it was expected which was lovely, and the CD was in perfect condition, with a beautiful design on both the CD and front cover. There was a small scratch on the back of the jewel case but that wasn’t an issue and jewel cases are easily replaceable. Excellent album, with far superior mixing to the original release of the album, making the listening experience far better as the guitar, synths and vocals sound so much more crisp and high quality. Stand-out tracks include Black Damask (The Fog), Devil’s Night, America, Sinematic, Synthetic Love, Hatefuck, Infamous and Sick From The Melt. Overall great album, and I would highly recommend it.
