Etude House Tint My Brows Gel 5g (3 Gray Brown)

This product works well and leaves a nice light grey tint after 10 minutes which is what I was looking for. After the gel dries I scrape it off with my fingernail and experience minimal eyebrow hair loss due to sticking to the gel. Stays on decently for a few days as long as you don't get soap on it. The only drawback is the perfume-y Lysol like smell right after you apply. Etude House, please remove the scent! The smell does fade after several hours. Because I see mostly browns on the market and I need grey to look most natural, I would most likely repurchase this despite the smell.

The key here is to understand what this product will and will not do. The next challenge is colour. I prefer the grey/brown and my hair is dark blond. I found the other colours left a red/orange tinge. What this produce does it dye the skin under the hair in your eyebrow, thus the reason for being generous in the application to hit the skin. The other trick is to stay within your natural hair line so your brow looks naturally. You can always add pencil or powder for a more defined look for an evening out. It does wear off with a few days and gradually gets lighter, but if you reapply every other night, you'll have fab brows every day. One may think this is tedious - but think about how many minutes you spend in the mirror applying brows and are they still there after lunch. Think about going swimming or a hot sweaty day and the brow pencil/powder melting off. And best of all - you can wake up in the morning and have brows.

I received it like a week or 2 after seller shipped it. Packaged nicely and came intact.1. the smell of the gel is not strong2. the brush frays when putting it back in the tube, which sucks because you bring it back out and theres pieces sticking out.3. Keep a q-tip handy for quick clean up, you dont want the gel to stay on a part where you dont want it4. if you pull lightly (dont tug) you wont pluck your eyebrows5. clean your eyebrow area before applying6. I am disappointed as i left it on for 4 hours and it was slightly faded the next day.7. It fades almost immediately. Like to nothingness.8. You can't wash your face or else it will be wiped off too.So big disappointment. I wish it lasts longer.

This product is great.I did a patch test on my arm just in case I had an allergic reaction to it. When I did apply it to my brows I didn't wait two hours, but it was still very pigmented. The product is sticky and liquidy. Since I removed it before the two hours the product was still wet so when "peeled" it there was transfer on my nails. The only thing I would caution is that THIS PRODUCT IS NOT GREY BROWN BUT BLACK SO IF YOU DON'T WANT DARK BLACK BROWS maybe check out the other colours. Also this product doesn't last long and would fade after one wash.

At first I loved the smell of the product and the applicator but the results were horrible. After peeling the tint off, my fingers were stained purple (even though I left it to dry for only 7 hours). I lost hair after peeling it off but assumed it would be worth it if the tint looked great. It did for a few seconds until I rinsed my face off with water and saw purple dye streaming down my face. It washed off instantly. Total fail. Time, money and eyebrow hairs were lost.
