can you use this product for natural hair?

Yes you most definitely can. It conditions my natural hair and is super moisturizing. Also I'm a 4a/4b natural just for you're reference.

At what room temperature will Shea Butter become soft enough to apply to skin? I read someone said they had to scape or pry it out.

It's compressed, but really creamy - not rock solid/hard. You have to press firmly with your fingers to scoop it out, then it softens in your hands really quickly and onto your skin when you rub it in. I would never melt it, that would be very runny and messy. This brand of shea butter is very luxurious and I am extremely pleased!! I did a lot of research beforehand of different types, quality, texture, etc...and I'm so happy that I won't consider using another brand! It feels great on your skin, is the highest quality, and no trouble applying it. It is NOT a lotion or cream, it has a butter texture that is like hardened butter in your refrigerator (not the freezer!) and it melts into your skin right away. Hope all this helps!

Right in the ingredients, at the end, it says "not an organic product". Of course they don't have a picture of that. What a sham.
