Christmas gift for my wife
Wife is a huge fan and I knew this would be perfect! She watches the show over and over and having a book detailing what is made at Hell's kitchen was exactly what she needed!

Front cover is nice but the inside is all black and white and terrible quality.
I should have known for the price but do not waste your money on this.

Not really Hell’s Kitchen
Though these recipes may hold some of the same titles as recipes in Hell’s Kitchen, they don’t compare to recipes published in the actual Hell’s Kitchen cookbook. All of Hell’s Kitchen recipes contain several components, such as sauces and garnishments. These recipes don’t. They are lack luster and watered down in comparison. They shouldn’t be compared to the recipes is Hell’s Kitchen. They are definitely NOT of the same caliber. That being said, they could be good for someone starting out on their own culinary journey. Simple recipes with very elementary instruction that would be good for the novice cook to expand their repertoire. However, I think the more advanced cooks looking to up their game would be greatly disappointed. All photos are black and white and many of the recipes contain grammatical errors.

Okay, but lacks color pictures
On the whole I enjoy this soft cover cookbook. It's a bit on the thin side at only 70 pages but the included dishes including cocktails and deserts are fun. Based on the Hell's Kitchen series if you are a fan you will recognize many show favorites. Only serious drawback, for me, are the lack of pictures. Basically, one picture per recipe and the pictures are only black and white. Hardly makes the dishes seem appetizing or doesn't give the book the "pop" a cookbook needs to really draw you. To me the pictures and the layout of the recipes in a cookbook are what drive you to want to try making the dishes. Still, it's an enjoyable read.

Don't waste your money!
I should have read reviews. ☹️ A black and white paperback book. No temps mentioned for cooking-- just "heat a pan", etc. Not much detail. Not completely disappointed, but definitely not happy! Is M. Gilb a former contestant, hoping to cash in? Enjoy the $12 you got from me!
