Getting off the existing back was not as easy as video demos I have watched because it was already shattered, and it continued to shatter more during the removal process. Could not be helped. However, once I had it all peeled away (it came off like pieces of wet cardboard) and all glass and adhesive residue cleaned up, the new back was a perfect match and fit like a glove. Very pleased!A hair dryer used often is definitively an aid. Softening up the adhesive is extremely useful to make the process easier, especially if the back disintegrates during removal. Don't try to muscle it through, thinking you can do without using heat. You will just cause unnecessary damage.Also, I would like to see the removal tool be a hardened plastic or ceramic. The metal tool can be a bit harsh on the frame edges of the phone. Causing abrasions, though hard to see, while trying to fix worse damage is not an equal exchange in my book.

I've been using my LG Velvet 5g since December 2022 when I purchased it brand new. It's a larger phone than I'd like but it's a great phone so I was very disappointed when the back cracked. I believe it's because the larger size is not conducive to being in your back pocket. Anyway, I searched YouTube for repair videos and there are a few out there. I ordered one from Amazon that did not fit at all. I then ordered this one and it fits the T-Mobile variant perfectly.It comes with everything you need and it is a solid, quality replacement.

It fit for my phone.

Looks and feels like the original it replaced. Needed to get this to replace the fingerprint sensor/home button because the adhesive isn't reusable. Comes with the camera lens pre-installed. Haven't tested if it's waterproof (and don't plan to in case it isn't :). The tools it comes with are a nice touch. I used a heat gun, the flathead screwdriver, and the pick to remove the back and took me 5 minutes to remove.4 stars because you can get the same backs for half the price elsewhere online, just have to wait a few weeks for shipping.

The tools worked great and fit my phone I didn't even need to use a heat gun to loosen the glue it worked awesome.
