A fantastic product
I bought the CTEK MXS 5.0 EU Car Battery Charger as I was frustrated with the constant reminders from my car app that the battery charge level was critical. It has turned out to be a value for money purchase. The charger is sleek, compact and very easy to use. The manual provided explains things clearly and I have been charging my luxury car batteries once or twice a fortnight and the results are very good. The complete cycle of charging is done in about 4-6 hours and I have not faced a problem thus far. Highly recommended.

Must have charger for AGM batteries
Got this for my GLE which has an AGM battery. Good quality and special mode for AGM and standard batteries. Can be left out for long without worry which is my case given that my car spends most of the time in the basement. However, I have one concern - there is no earth connection. Not that it matters but with sensitive electronics, I am always concerned on this part.

Nice product to have at your garage
Great product. Using it for almost a year now. Using regularly to charge my Ford Fiesta, wagon r and my two wheeler Honda activa scooter battery.

Superb product and Customer Support
I purchased the product in 2017 to keep my Harley AGM battery in charge. The Ctek charger is easy to use and has maintained the battery in optimum condition for 3 years now. The customer support is excellent and their response is immediate.

CTEK chargers are very popular in the EU and are one of the few chargers recommended by nearly all major European & US car manufacturers.The MXS 5 charger does its job very well, the only downside being CTEKs are much more expensive than comparable offerings from other charger manufacturers such as Black & Decker, Bosch and Battery Tender which I have purchased in the past.One needs to match the charger to the size of the battery The CTEK MXS 5 is optimised for use with small and medium size car batteries. Get the MXS 7 or MXS 10 if you want to charge large vehicle (SUV/truck) 12V batteries
