Great for sueding dancing shoes!
There's one smoother side and one rougher side; I have the rough side facing outwards because it gave the best slip on the ground. I recommend very tough scissors or a rotary cutter if you need to cut this into pieces. Great quality and great for dancing lindy so far!

Used for dance shoes
I glued on rubber sole shoes to make dance shoes. Used shoe glue from Walmart. Seems to work well. Need really sharp scissors to cut.

Soft material suitable for slipper soles
Suede is thick enough to use as slipper soles but thin enough to cut with scissors. It is very soft and bends easily. I was able to punch holes in it with an awl but not worry that the suede will rip out around the holes. I am using it to put soles on crocheted slippers.
