Works well but I believe my old cast iron stairs have more rust on them than before - spray off afterwards snow / ice has meted.

BUY THIS ONE IF YOU HAVE A BRACE FOR YOUR LARGE AIR CONDITIONER!!
I have a 15,000 BTU window mounted air conditioner that I didn't want to remove for the winter especially during Covid. I can't put it in or take it out by myself so decided to leave it in for the winter. I have a window brace thing for the air conditioner and most covers go completely around the entire unit. I needed one that covered top, sides, back, but not bottom bc of brace. This worked like a charm. I've had it on unit for 4+ months now through 50+ MPH winds and snow and rain storms, and it has held up perfectly. Hasn't moved or shifted. Works great. Extremely happy with purchase. If you have a large window unit this works well.

Almost as good as new
I live in a senior housing complex..air conditioners are in wall sleeves which are 17x 28 etc...last fall I purchased these as well as two otherbrands which I returned. The price was affordable..they are also foldable so that fitting can be snug as desired. I used bungee cords andduck tape to secure and air lock the covers. Did my neighbors and my unit...I just put last years' used covers on again...that is a lot to sayfor the quality of the product. Almost as good as new...again common sense dictates the use of duck tape and bungee cords...we are alsohaving heavy winds presently and it is just October. Both my neighbor and myself felt the inside of our apartments were much warmer sothe covers are doing their job. Purchased more recently for neighbors...

Installed properly, still blew away!
I bought this knowing it was on the thinner side, but I installed it according to the directions. It fit perfect. Unfortunately it blew off and away the first windy day. I would suggest duct taping it to the air conditioner itself, don't just rely on the straps it came with.
