Q: Can these pots be left in a tray with water or will they disintegrate?

I have left these pots in a tray with water in it but only when they needed water not all the time. They tend to get a little soft with time but a great product. The can be put in the planting medium direct and will disintegrate without disturbing the roots. Hope this helps. Bill

You would receive two sets of 6 cell cowpots for a total of 12 individual cow pots.

Q: So concretely is it made of cow's crap? In other words this is not a vegan product?

According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, a vegan (noun) is a person who does not eat or use animal products and vegan (adjective) describes something that contains no animal products. So, in answer to your question: Cow Pots are not vegan (noun) because, of course, one does not eat them and Cow Pots are not vegan (adjective) because they do, indeed, contain animal products (actually “crap” as you so sophisticatedly choose to say). Incidentally, having used Cow Pots for the growing of hundreds of seedlings, I can vouch for their being an excellent product.

Q: Are the pots square or round? Dimensions? (Can't believe such basic info isn't covered by the vendor in this posting.)

These 12-pack Cow Pots are much smaller than stated. The outside of the rim of the "4 in." size is 3-3/4 inches. Just below that, the soil receptacle measures only 3-1/2" at the widest point. Height of the 4" pot is just 3-1/2 inches.
