This saber ticks all the boxes: 9 sound fonts, good speaker, bright RGB LED, smooth swing, flash on clash, blaster effect, etc. thin-walled Polycarbonate blade, which is pretty durable, but it can also fit the heavy dueling blades (with 3mm thick walls). Only downside: the Emitter and switch housing are a single, one-piece unit, so you can't just swap the emitter like with other LGT sabers, but the handle and pommel are threaded and can be changed. the threading is compatible with all the other LGT saber components, including shrouds, extensions, pommels and armor, so components can be bought through LGT, VireSabers or Crimson Dawn and swapped on. There is also a threaded hole near the end of the grip, so you can add a covertec wheel; not sure of the threads, it may be 3mm. The saber chassis is the standard LGT saber studio/ DarkWolf saber chassis. Board is a DarkWolf RGBX ECO Smoothswing board. lots of features for the price.

This saber functions beautifully great value for the price. However I had an issue with an SD card to work with the saber and customer service was not only fast to respond but very helpful with resolving my issues. So value and customer service 5 stars.

Since I was a kid, I have always been a Star Wars fan....40 something years later, & nothing has changed. This lightsaber is fun & brings back some of that magic i felt as a kid. The hilt is solid aluminum and sturdy. The RGB lamp is super bright and you can select pretty much any color you want. The electronic action of the saber is a little lagging and doesn't always react to hits...but overall provides a good experience. This is the first lightsaber I have owned, so I would like to test other sabers to see how they compare. Overall a very good product. I'll update this review after some testing.

Edit: June 3, 2023After a year of not being able to play with this awesome light saber, I ordered a replacement battery for it, and crossed my fingers. IT WORKED!! My son is super happy, and so I am for not feeling like I wasted my money. This is still one of my son's favorite toys! He's even asking me to order another one to make it double-sided.Worked great for 14 days, then it died. This was my son's very favorite birthday present. He played with it everyday from the day he opened it. On the 14th day, it quit charging and working. It won't even turn on. I have a very disappointed little boy now.

Bought this for a Jedi costume. Initially worked fine however after storing it away after using it for the festival we went to I thought I'd use it when my 11 month old saw it in the closet. It didn't work so I figured it needed to be charged. Plugged it in and got the "Charging" voice and a red light flash around the power button. Came back to it to use it and it never turned on.It was a rushed by to get ready for a festival but I was initially worried about it being cheap. Probably better to spend more on a better quality one.

For the Price this was a great deal for what you got. not sure what everybody else got that had issues, but here is what I receivedI received a manual that folded up and was very intuitive and descriptive, not a metal card like others have said.the charging cable looks to be high qualityAllen wrench (for the screws)Screws 2 short 2 longBladeSabernow when I hold the button from full power off to turn the saber on it does say power on, but if it is in sleep mode it just makes the light saber sound of on an off I have no complaints about thisgoing thru the manual provided it tells you how to change the color, the sound and the effect(pulse, Stable, or unstable.I never had any had any star wars music play, only thing is that does any talking is the sound of the what saber sounds you want, like scavenger, emperor, the fallen ectand many different colors of bladesmy only complaint on this saber is that it was a little thin and not as thick as my other sabers are.but as a good starter I would recommend thisI am not being paid or compensated for this, and is an honest review
