The Feynman Lectures on Physics, Vol. I: The New Millennium Edition: Mainly Mechanics, Radiation, and Heat: 1 Paperback – Illustrated, 4 October 2011

I have read some reviews here saying that page quality is low and text is not readable. But I think it's personal and an odd case.Considering the price this is the best they can offer.This Millenniam edition is bigger than other editions. There is more blank space in pages; its quite usefull to write down notes- this is a modern text book approach. Words are small but it is comfortable to read. Cover and overall build of the book is decent. In the cover there is photos of Richard Feynman playing bongos, its kind of give us overall fun feeling about the book.There is no need to say anything about the content of the book: it will remain as a Classic for the many years to come.Feynman once said "There is difference between knowing something and knowing the name of something".Well, after reading this book I think we'll get to know what it's be like to really KNOW something.Happy Reading..☺

Best book for learning physics that i have ever found

it is only good for beginners ... Students preparing for jee can read it in free time (which they don't have) ... The only problem is that this book throws the damn truth at your face directly which I think beginners won't be able to digest..... So ya! Conclusion is agr physics ko ek or nazarya se dekhna h to padlo but for jee not that useful..... U can use it's online pdf ..🙏

I loved the book but the reason am giving 4 stars is because In some lessons the author didn't explained it correctly and He tried to make it simple but some overcomplications came along but anyway overall it's an amazing book , and I also bought the other two volumes too . If you're looking for best physics guide this would be it .bye

Indian edition is unfortunately not coloured one . But the overall concepts remains the same ! So , basically , if this is your cup of coffee , then give it a go !3. I examined each pages patiently, I got some minor defects in 2 pages and a small crack at 1 page .. that's all ! Am happy those pages doesn't compromise the contentsAbout the book and the Author :As most of us know , Richard P. Feynman was regarded as one of the greatest minds of the 20th century . He is a Nobel laureate , got his nobel prize 🏆 for his achievements in Quantum electrodynamics along with his colleagues . He is famous for that fact that "He can explain extremely complex concepts to a child using simple syllables" . Yes , Indeed after reading the book online in his official website , I realised the whole new way of understanding the universe and beyond ! This books mainly focus on the Newtonian aspects and ends with a gist of electrodynamics and modern physics (quantum aspects and other).. Physics-lovers Bible it is !!! Give it a try , and you will see the world with whole new perspective !!

Don't go to the theatre without knowing what the film primarily deals with. Feynman played an integral role in Manhattan Project. Read this book, get your physics right, know what is the difference between atomic fission and fusion, know how to calculate the critical size of an atomic bomb, become a scientist yourself and then only you can understand the dilemmas of another scientist (Oppenheimer). Remember, this is how Nolan intends you to watch his film.

Un des meilleurs livres de physique au monde, il est clair, il donne une bonne intuition des phénomènes physiques. Tous les concepts y compris les plus compliqué sont clairement expliqué. Je recommande la lecture de ce livre à tout étudiant en licence de physique ou en classe préparatoire. Plus largement ce livre devrait intéressé toutes personnes que la physique attire. C'est simple même en cherchant longtemps vous ne trouverez pas mieux.J'apprécie énormément la mise en page de cette édition en anglais, les marges sont grande pour qu'on puisse y prendre des notes. De plus les textes sont en noir et blanc donc on peut surligner si besoinsEn revanche je déplore la couverture qui est beaucoup trop fine à mon goût pour un livre de cette taille. Il existe une édition (rouge) avec une couverture plus rigide.
