The game is fantastic.Solid gameplay that really feels like an MMA fight. The physics can sometimes lead to some awkward moments, but it also makes for some spectacular fights. The soundtrack isn't my thing. I'm surprised they picked so many songs with adult lyrics that have to be censored. Odd choice for a T rated game. Some people might like it though. The career mode is phenomenal and is a true highlight of the game and the ability to create custom fight cards is great even if the Bonuses don't always make sense. Fight of the Knight always seems to go to whatever fight was shortest for me.Ultimate Team has been too tedious for me to enjoy and kinda just feels like an attempt to bait me into dropping more money on the game. I do like that you can use created fighters for it though.All-in-all, this game is amazing.

Take the bad with the good
As a big fan of UFC Undisputed on the 360, I thought the graphics, striking, and gameplay were all improved. I'm frustrated by career mode as you get to the top ten and every fighter, regardless of ability or talent, seems to be a master in all areas. Fighting a top 10 striker with a maxed out ground and pound specialist felt like I was trying to maintain control of a jiu jitsu black belt who ceaselessly reverses me. I also think the system for grappling/ blocking strikes from the bottom is flawed, and when it costs you a big win streak 20 fights into your career, its annoying. You can be maxed out on ground and pound and land good ground striked for five rounds, but if the boxer gives you three punches on the ground you can get so dazed you cant defend and its over.Lastly, the game hands out perfects 100 ratings in ALL areas to way too many fighters. Paige Van Zant is not the ultimate grappler, clincher, and ground technician, but in this game she is.A lack of variety in the career mode and training also feels like a missed opportunity. The selection of fighters is a huge plus, though!!

Great game
Awesome game. This was the first and only MMA game I've ever got, and it exceeded my expectations. Tons of fighters, realistic and broad moveset, fun gameplay, good graphics, a number of features (create your own fighter, practice node, knockout mode, career mode, etc), and more. It might also get you more interested in mma/ufc, as it definitely has for me. Even though ufc 3 has come out by now, I've been happy to stick with this game.

Don't bother buying this game
This game sucks!! EA Sports should be ashamed of themselves for even producing this game. Don't the developers ACTUALLY play the game before they package it and charge money for it? I was looking forward to this game for a while. I didn't purchase the first UFC game from EA because I didn't have an Xbox one yet (there wasn't a 360 version available) and I've been waiting for UFC 2 to come out since Christmas. The game play is a little choppy at times and the damage that certain strikes accomplish is ridiculously uneven. Forget about the ground game because it's a waste of time. It's nearly impossible to perform a submission even if your opponent does nothing to try and stop you, never mind when they fight back. When a fight comes down to a decision I think the game just randomly picks one fighter or the other with no regard to what happened in the fight. In this case I guess there is some reality in that Dana White always says to finish fights and don't let it come down to the judges. However that's easier said than done when you hit a guy with 35+ head kicks and he's still coming after you and knocking you down with a single kick to the mid section....very frustrating!! There is NO REALISM in the amount of damage your opponent can take while you sometimes seem to be knocked over with the slightest contact. All in all just a compete disappointment and a waste of money.

Ufc 2 > Ufc 4
Although the roster is outdated, it’s bigger than ufc 4, gameplay is more fun, clinch grappling is better, better knockout animations, stand up feels smoother, and Lil Xan isn’t on the soundtrack like ufc 4 🗑
