These rods are perfect and so strong that they are almost too hard to move. Easy to set up but once you do, they are not going anywhere without some muscle. Works perfectly for blackout curtains for my porch.

I got this over a couple months ago. I live in a small apartment with very little storage or cabinets in the kitchen but I love cooking and have a lot of small appliances and baking accessories.I used this to hang 3 curtains in front of 2 (1 silver and 1 black) restaurant style shelves that store all my non-perishables and kitchen tools.The rod is sturdy and holds its tension. I haven't even used the peices that came with it to screw I to the wall under the rod that keep it from moving. I am in the middle of changing the colors of my living and dining room so I haven't bought a ceiling to floor curtain that will span the entire 100 inches from wall to wall yet.But this is definitely worth buying and makes everything look much better.

I was recently racking my brain to come up with a way to divide a large room in my house that was currently being used as my workroom for products that I sell on Etsy. As my 20-year-old grandson was moving in with us, I made my workroom smaller in order to make a bedroom for him and I wanted an easy and inexpensive way to separate his bedroom from my workroom. I saw this Room Divider Tension Curtain Rod when I was shopping for a bathroom shower tension rod on Amazon and it had gotten very good reviews. I was a little skeptical because the room was at least 12' across and I couldn't see how a tension rod could stay up over that expanse. I must say I was pleasantly surprised at how well this tension rod works! I ordered 2 navy blue full-size flat sheets and attached them to the rod with round metal curtain hooks and put up the rod. With the round curtain hooks, the divider curtain slides easily across the rod and opening and closing the curtain is no problem. The tension rod, which is hung just below the ceiling, has stayed in place and not moved at all. I am very happy with this Room Divider Tension Curtain Rod because it solved my dilemma about dividing the room and giving my grandson some privacy. It was an inexpensive and rather simple solution to my problem and I would not hesitate to recommend it.

The pole looks nice and fits the room I put it in. It came with an extra piece I didn’t end up using but it was really handy to ensure a good fit. I use heavy curtains with it and it has held up well, I don’t have to worry when I pull the curtains closed.

Such a great price for a great product. Arrived quickly, in perfect condition, easy instructions for install and the bar is a good size for curtain rod. I read some people complain that it was lose and did not quite fit - please make sure you measure your windows as there are different sizes. Also, maybe people are not reading the instructions. There is a setting pin with little drilled holes, this is so you can measure your window and set the pin so that the bar is about 2.5 to 2.75 inches longer than the space you plan to place them. This way when you fit first one side, then the other, you have to squeeze (there are springs) the bar to fit into the smaller space. This guarantees a solid and tight fit! My bar would not budge from it's spot and easily took the weight of the long hung curtain.This will be my go to method of hanging curtains from now on. Great product and I am completely satisfied.

Surprisingly strong when expanded across 7’.I was expecting it to not hold as tight as it did and to sag with weight. It it worked very well.

It is easy to install. The quality is good as it is heavy duty. It holds up two heavy black-out curtains without sliding down.

The product was easy to install. No tools required. Mounted them on dry walls and hung the curtains. They are just perfect and quiet steady too. Just use a lil pressure to put it to the correct size and it stay there.The only minor thing I would say is, it was mentioned to adjust the rod to point the press button to the bottom. Which I did. But still when I move the curtains I see that it has a little trouble. But it’s fine because I don’t move that curtain too often.
