ExcelMark Ink Pad for Rubber Stamps 2-1/8" by 3-1/4" - Black

The pad itself has been durable so far and holds ink well. It was moist as it should be with ink upon arrival and functioned immediately. It closes tightly to slow down the drying out of the pad.

I learned a lot about stamp pads while searching for one. I wanted a traditional type stamp pad to go with a rubber stamp. This ink pad is really nice because if you push the stamp into it, it makes a very nice impression the very first time--and then you would have to re-ink the stamp to make another good impression. It has a nice cushiony feel when you press down on the pad. I would only be concerned how to re-ink it to get the same effect and not get too much ink, but only time will tell as I don't have to re-ink it yet of course. Read carefully for yourselves as there are different types of inks, washable and not, and as I said, I learned a lot. I would choose this ink pad which comes in different colors if I were looking for a traditional very nice pad for your rubber stamp.

Nice font size sweet stamp quality and super easy to use. Slim design is a plus.

I'm a little disappointed that I really have to press my stamp on this pad to get some ink from it. Looks dry. I have to really push a lot to get some ink on the rubber.

I didn't want to buy another expensive self inking stamp (from a different maker) after it had dried up so I decided to try running my roller stamp around this Excel Mark stamp pad and it works great! I will be using these pads from now on.

Seems like a fine pad, but the size isn't correct in the listing. Not so great if you bought it to use with a 2" stamp.

Mostly I use self-inking or pre-inked stamps, but there are always a few of the old-fashioned stamps on a stick that require a pad, and are custom and occasionally used, so must have an ink pad in the drawer.My old metal case, raised pad specimen had been re-inked countless times, but was getting gummy and clearly past its time, so ordered this one.Pleased, it has a trim well fitted plastic case, the ink pad itself is completely flush, not rounded at the edges like the old traditional one, and the fabric surface is so fine I had to get a bright light to make sure it was not foam or felt. I'm confident this one will be in my drawer for a long time.So I
