Tape measure in the front big pocket..
Might hit your junk once and a while.. heads up.. otherwise a sturdy good hirise glass vest.. the only one I buy.. but do something about the junk part.. and toughen up the zipper track.. it would be the best commercial construction vest ever.. thanks

First tool vest
It’s cooler in the hot. Than you’d expect. It’s better than a belt.It needs more ridged tool holders though. The soft loops aren’t great for things like tape measures. It needs more pencil holders. I’m going to supplement a tool belt pouch for my tape and knife and pencils. Big loops work great for a hammer. Not to many good places to hook a driver or nail gun to though.

OFI ( opportunity for improvement)
Too many big/loose pockets, poorly placed. Impossible to transport a tool-filled vest without items falling out.a. Place front pockets close to the zipper.b. Lower top four pockets so they touch each other and the lower two pockets touch the hem.c. Eliminate the clasp buttons in lieu of permanent stitching.d. Each pocket needs additional VERTICAL stitching to allow for more pens/pencils/sharpies etc. Utility knives, squares, pry bars, putty knives,e. Add a reinforced clip/slot at the hem/belt (right side) for a tape measure.I like the idea of a vest that distributes tools and their weight across the shoulders instead of the neck. My vest is stitched up to accommodate my needs but it came at a high cost ($60) at a shoe repair shop.

Good vest for a finish carpenter
I like the amount of pockets this vest has and the fact that it has no metal hammer hook on it that can damage finish walls. It is made of quality material and comfortable for all day use.

Alittle big for my build but not unexpected
This is the first solid ,well constructed, vest i have found since Skillers was bought out and their brand was destroyed by Mascot. This vest is just what i wanted in a work vestMy only complaint is that since I am short, 5'6" the pockets are a bit low for my reach.but that is to be expected when you are vertically challenged.

Nice tool vest
Sizes run on the small side, suggest ordering one size larger than what you normally wear.

Excellent value, low profile fully adjustable work vest.
Excellent adjustment capability; fits well over a t shirt AND over my heavy winter coat after adjustments. Pockets are very thin and will wear out fast with nails/screws, but I plan to reinforce big pockets anyway. Good choices in pocket sizes and placement, vest is lightweight, not too bulky, with a good quality plastic zipper and buckle. It's a perfect base to do your own modifications; Take 10 min and attach a decent leather hammer loop, or just reinforce the existing one. It works and my hammer never falls out, but it's flimsy and will wear fast. Large pockets hold my impact driver but it's awkward to remove without a leather lining. If pockets are lined with simple canvas bags or leather, the vest should last several years.
