ORGANIC PerfectaGel Silver Gelatin Sheets (170 Bloom) - 20 Sheets

The media could not be loaded. I got this because I wanted to make jello for my kids (: we only eat organic and a company claiming to be organic isn't enough for me. I took the gamble on this as it doesn't show a certificate for organic. For my surprise the package does have the organic symbol(:

I actually get these to put in my coffee in the morning! It is smoother than using powdered collagen peptides and gives a creamy froth after I blend it up! I shot through these, as I use 2 at a time so will be ordering the larger size next time. They blend up smoothly and easily, NO clumping. I just cut them into strips and add to the blender with the coffee and 2 Tablespoons of nutpods vanilla creamer.

I've been making some higher end recipes and I've tried using granular gelatin for them, but I've never had a lot of success. This made it so much easier to complete the recipes I've been attempting and it was a lot of fun to use!

I am able to make 5 bowls of Gelatine from the 20 sheets. Works great. Might take a batch or two to get used to the instructions. I'm now a convert and only buy sheets!

I don't know what people do to get lumpy mixture. Follow the instruction and you can't go wrong. The only con is the text that reads "1/2 cup water per sheet." It came out too thin. These days, people like to use gelatin for hard gello or gummy. It should have more info for the hard gelatin and gummies. I may have to try 4 sheets for the gummies.Also, it would be nice to find good recipe on their site. It might exist but I couldn't find one.

I worked i. restaurnts for years and had issues blooming powder gelatin, I just steered clear of using it. I am maming panna cotta for a private dinner, and this was a life saver! My test batch came out creamy, rich and smooth....excited to use the gelatin sheets for more!

Works well as pre-made sheets for edible decorations. Can be cut with scissors or paper punches to make clear designs. I use them to create insect wings or clear elements, like the cape on Elsa's dress and her "frost" magic. Package was delivered on time and in good condition.

BUYER BEWARE - NO RETURNS GIVEN ON THIS. Don't like the sheet form, messy, have to strain your gel to make sure no small bits of the sheet are in it, left little pieces like tiny plastic chunks... expensive. I suspect this is a good product for making a pannacotta, where you do not need a firm set and are likely to be straining anyways. It does have a smooth set for a silky mouthfeel. It did not suit my needs and they do not accept returns. NOT impressed.
