Great product, works perfectly with my iPhone 16 max. I didn't know what the paddle on the lower back of the product was from the photos, it stabilized the whole unit after being connected to the vent. I like that it is connected to the vent so AC cools the phone on hot days.The vent clamp is very strong and won't come loose. I put it on the passenger side vent so it doesn't block the vehicle computer screen, it adjusted fine to read the phone.This works so well that I plan to get one for my other vehicle.

I bought this for my new iPhone 16 to be able to charge my phone in the car. It was easy to install and I love the fact that phone is upright and facing me while I'm driving. especially when I'm using my map app for driving directions. It adjusted to fit the air vents perfectly, and the cord was easily long enough to reach power connector. The phone magnet (the holder) is easily adjusted so I can view the face of my phone for map directions. It is so superior to my hold phone charger.

I’ve used several ESR MagSafe car chargers, and while they work well at first, the plastic mounting components tend to crack or break over time — especially at the ball joint. That’s been a recurring issue for me.That said, I reached out to ESR support, and they responded quickly and offered to replace the broken unit without hassle. Their customer service was responsive and helpful, which I really appreciated.If ESR improves the long-term durability of the mount, this would be a solid product backed by a team that stands behind it. For now, it’s great customer service holding up an average build.

Great purchase. This is easy to install, works great. Very strong magnet. Perfectly positioned and easy to adjust. It does get hot, but in the summer the ac cools it down. I would probably buy the one with the installed fan if I had to do it again but in the meantime this one works.

I realized tonight that I either own or have purchased way too much stuff from ESR for other people ...this charger is probably going to be the thing that changes that.Why? Because it will just randomly stop charging and just sit there with the pretty blue light blinking at me. Only way to get it to start charging again is to disconnect the charger from power for 2-3 seconds, then reconnect it. If this happened only once a week, I'd be fine, but sometimes it will just keep refusing to charge at all with no rhyme or reason as to why. Then later in the same day, I'll just reflexively toss my phone on the charger while driving...and it'll quietly work and give me no issues.Things I've Done So Far:- Disabled Idle Stop on vehicle.- Tried charger with five different iPhones (14 Pro, 15, 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, 12)- Tried charger with the included cable from both the charger in question and the ones that came with two of the four other ESR Qi2 chargers that I've purchased.- Tried charger with different cables from four different manufacturers with each cable capable of supporting 100W or 240W charging.- Tried charger with different car chargers (minimum 45W, verified each with a Klein Tools ET920 and another from Plugable).- Tried charger in different vehicles with same result.- Tried charger while connected to a 100W charger in a wall outlet.I've got the non-cryoboost ESR Qi2 chargers in two other vehicles and they don't give me a problem. JUST THIS ONE.I'm already bald.I have no hair left to pull.This charger will make me buy a toupee just so I've got something to pull at because I'm past the return period and I don't think I want another one if there's even the slightest chance it's going to just sit there and gimme blue batteries (Yup, I said it).

LISTENNNN!!!!! I have tried for years to find a car mount that won’t break, won’t stick, and will just hold my dang phone so I can follow a map. I clipped this into my air vent and it didn’t move it, it charges so fast, and is SLEEEEKKKKKK!!! I am getting these as gifts for this upcoming Christmas for everyone because it’s so useful and fun!

I purchased this in the fall of 2024. It worked great for my situation. The MagSafe really made the phone visible & accessible. The charging is a bonus even though I have a charging pad in the new car. But, it's not reliable at actually charging the phone and I can't see it or do anything with it.This worked great until today when the adhesive failed. I'm not really surprised since I have tried several others with adhesive. They all failed some on the very first day. So I credit this of changing on this long. The vent attachment isa nonstarter for me because the car has vents with a grid for a cover. Not slots.I understand the dilemma for ESR (& several others0 I have tried. The dash is a terrible place with all the light and heat breaking down the plastic and adhesive. In this case It did much better than I thought.Now I'm off to find some sort of adhesive to stick on. Something I can replace when it inevitably fails.
