So yes, it is a simple piece of plastic. However it’s half the price of a similar item elsewhere on the internet. It covers up the dent in the top of my tailgate from when someone rear ended me with my tailgate down. For installation, I didn’t use the terrible double sided tape included with it and went with a gorilla tape double sided. That held for about 3 months just fine, but I never loved the installation because as soon as the double sided tape touched the truck it started sticking so it was hard to get the position right. Today I took it off carefully and reapplied with a JB Weld Plastic Bonder epoxy. You have to hold it in place for 15 minutes while it sets, but you can adjust the position better to fit and should be a stronger seal. Update coming.

This product is.made of the THINNEST material possible. It is absolute garbage. No mounting clips, just double sided tape. Are you kidding me?? Plus they charged me a $35 return shipping fee. DO NOT BUY, TOTAL RIP OFF, TOTAL GARBAGE.

I guess I was expecting a solid piece of plastic speficially designed to replace that existing top tailgate plastic that would then snap into place. Instead it's a cheap thin molded piece that you have to double side tape in place. How long you think this will last? What a piece of garbage. I got ripped. I can't send it back because I trashed the box. So in the trash it goes. As a daytrader the $120 is a minute's pay, but still....

Wasn't going to review, because I'm not a big fan of reviews but people need to know not to waste your time and money on this item. Had it on my truck for about to weeks before it fell off somewhere in the street... the double sided tape provided by the supplier is garbage. The plastic tailgate fell off and I'm down the money.... waste of money....

This is the worst spoiler that I have counter and with bad experience.. This spoiler sucks and scratched my truck don’t recommend at all please stay away.. If the review say that is good like I fell for it actually suck not worth the money

This is not a high quality part or even a moderate quality part. I’m returning as I can not and will not put this trash on my truck. They are charging me to return it as, they will keep $39 something from my total price paid. Junk don’t buy it!
