Economical
Pros: Very fast booting and operations. Sleek laptop, light weight. Fast response can handle multiple applications at a time. Audio quality is nice.Cons: Plastic build quality not so great but should not matter a lot for the price you pay. I think this is the best priced laptop for the configuration.

fantastic performance vs power use from the 3500u cpu - super functional 'work' machine
The screen is only 1080p resolution, but the combination of the fantastic performance vs power use from the cpu, and the solid form factor have made this laptop a great 'work machine' choice. I've found that the AMD 3500U I picked really delivers great burst performance when I need to do some crunching but the battery does not suffer at all, the efficiency seems to be spot-on. The charge is replenished relatively quickly when plugged in too, and it's been ideal for a quick lunch-time recharge to get through the second half of the day. It was be ideal if the screen was perhaps QHD, but to be honest even at 1080p it's still a solid performer.

Does the job
This laptop is on the basic side, but as expected for the money. It feels very plasticky, the lid is easily marked with scratches (I just rested another laptop on top of it and it already looks a bit scraped)... but it is very comfortable to type on.things I find hugely annoying though: When hovering the cursor over something, it clicks through without me clicking it, if that makes sense. I'm sure it's a setting of some kind, but I haven't worked out yet how to stop it doing that. And secondly, the touchpad is not centred on the laptop, or even the main keyboard without the number pad - it's located more to the left. Which means that I constantly end up right-clicking instead of left-clicking. WHY would you design a laptop like that??But apart from that, it's light, easy to use, and will do the job I bought it for.

Overall - good device for everyday computing
Easy to use. Dell pop ups prompting to “buy, redeem etc” are a bit annoying - bu could be switched off.Im a big guy with big hands but the keyboard is quiet comfy, fits well.Touchpad is quit responsiveScreen - for the price is more then okay.Good enough for daily routine, browsing, movies, light gaming (LIGHT GAMING!!)Boots fast, fans not too loud, unless you running some mad software/gameNo backlight for the keyboard - as describedBattery life is good while new 5-6h if doing basic things, browsing, light work. Will do for someone who’s interested in programming BASICS, learning etc.Overall 4.5/5 stars - just because well, nothing is perfect.

Great Value, amazing performance
I was looking for a laptop with good speed, and decent graphics, also decent with gaming. After searching for reviews and looking for one that wasn't too expensive I found this one here. MY son helped to choose it and I am very happy. The delivery went smoothly , quick and efficient. Well packet and after using it for a couple of weeks I can recommended it totally. Very happy with it.

Can't find a fault with this ...
Great little computer at a good spec, was a bit concerned at not buying the top Pentium processors, but this is just great. I bought it 6 months ago and am still impressed. I have bought a laptop at similar spec and price before and that one is performs very well, but really weak plasticy build that feels brittle, this is compact and pretty sturdy feeling. It has very nice surround sound and it makes me wonder why you'd spend much more money when you can get a laptop like this.

dissapointed
On opening the box the immediate feel is of a low quality cost reduced product. It does not have that quality feel of Previous Dells ive bought.Ok it works. but it would be better i'f I wasn't constantly nagged by Dell to buy their other products as i'm using the Dell. The case and keyboard is black plastic finished in a horrible a sort of sand blasted effect that shows up all scuffs and surface dust.Dell could do better.

Great Spec but with some shortcomings.
A great looking laptop with some powerful features, plus it's Windows 11 compatible, but there are several downsides I feel. One, the screen has a rather narrow viewing angle and is hopelessly dim in a sunlit room, even when the brightness is turned up.Two, the key spacing on the keyboard is too far apart and too far away from the front edge of the board, making typing quite tiring on long sessions .Three, the mouse pad thingy is not central, meaning that the right hand is continually moving left and right between typing and using the pad.Four, I would have preferred the delete and backspace keys to be separated more. However, I like the simple sleek, no frills look and it is fast and extremely capable. And there's one other moan - I don't like Windows 10 or Micro-soft Edge. Too frequent bells, whistles and reminders and far too much unsolicited rubbish on the desktop with Edge. Not the computer's fault I know, but it drives me nuts.
