Lovely little gift , albeit not for me- I am much too clumsy to have this kind of serving dish , in addition my counters are concrete and honed granite , so I'd probably kill both the board and the counters This is really a perfect little housewarming gift and nicely designed with slots for the cheese signs and a magnetic strip for the knives . Carefully packaged in a very attractive and contemporary black and white graphic box. I might find supplement this with a more delicately tipped black pen but otherwise this is a lovely well priced little gift - but don't forget the wine ! Exceed my expectations. Cracker, cheese & dry cherry with a glass of wine! What else can I ask for to watch football with!!

The pen doesn't which upsetting as the first time I used it I couldn't label my cheeses.😐

Perfect for needs; keep it out by the fridge to cut fruit daily for pet sugar glider. If it was for cheese service, it's super tiny and the little extras it comes with are poor quality. For the price I think the little extras should be unable. I'd get something else foe cheese BUT if you want something functional and plain, it's worth it.

Who doesn't like cheese? Now you can have it served in the most elegant, yet, fun way possible. In a country where we, on average, eat 23 pounds of cheese per person in a year why not eat it in style! These knives are smooth and very sharp...hey, that's just how I like my cheese, too! The ceramic board, labels and knife handles are top notch. The marker writes and erases easily from the labels. The magnet embedded right into the board is a stroke of pure genius (thank you cheese board gods). It totally keeps the knives from falling off and amputating a toe or two.I know it may seem silly, but I wanted to mention the box it came in....cute enough to give as a gift without wrapping it....enough said.I was lucky enough to receive this cutting board set at a discount for testing and reveiwing purposes, but my review is all mine and honest for the good of all cheese eaters in the world looking for a fancy way to celebrate their cheese addiction. Thank goodness for me that eating cheese isn't illegal because I would have to be the first in line for a cheese eaters anonymous meeting. Someone once said, "there is nothing in this world more motivating than cheese."
