Purchased one in 2017 and it is still working dependably with no issues. I am buying another one because I like to always have a spare since I use a milk frother daily to mix my health drinks, my miso soup and to scramble my daily single egg. This battery-run manual milk frother has only two speeds which is fine for me since I only use it to whip up my daily morning Polyphenols rich drink (a mix of powders of Aronia Berry, Acai Berry, Japanese Sakura Cherry Blossom, Black Currant Berry, Blueberry, Butterfly Pea, Acerola Berry, Elderberry and Purple Sweet Potato). My other daily health drink (Bone Broth powder, Marine Collagen Powder, Golden Turmeric Milk Powder, Medicinal Mushrooms powders made by Real Mushroom brand and Host Defense brand, Moringa powder and Matcha Green Tea Powder and medicinal grade New Zealand Tea Tree Honey). I bought a couple of rechargeable milk frothers with a selection of different mixing head attachments which quit working after about a year (wasted money). I will continue to biy and use this long lasting, dependable, easy to maintain and clean useful frother.

I have had this for just over 5 years! I use it every single day. The spring has just started coming off and I will definitely be ordering another one! I can’t believe how long this has lasted me, such a great product!

I was in need of a frother for my new Japanese matcha habit, and spent a lot of time looking. It was between this one and the Bean Envy model. I decided to purchase this frother instead due to the larger whisk end on it. (Purchased at FULL price as consumer)WHAT IS THIS FROTHER LIKE?This frother is metal in construction. It has a cap on the end which slides off and batteries that it comes with that you insert. Everything is clearly marked. The button on the side has a low and high speed and an off switch. The frother end is larger than any other frother I have seen, so this gives it an extra oomph. The handle is made from metal and the end is flat so that you can stand it upside down anywhere you want.HOW DOES THIS PERFORM?I have to say I was not prepared for how well this frother works.-I got a metal pan with high sides small enough for frothing.-I warmed up whole milk while the cold brew coffee warms on the stove as well-I poured honey and vanilla and any flavor I wanted (I do not use sugar cane or any other form of sugar)-I removed the pan from the stove and tilted it to the side a bit, frothing until it had doubled in volume.-I stood up the pan flat on the table top and finished frothing for a few minutes-I poured the coffee into the cup-I poured the milk into the coffee, holding back the foam.-I spooned froth onto the coffee topThe froth is amazing. It stayed put through the entire cup of latte. The flavor was great, and the effect was professional in appearance.I also tried this for my matcha- I poured 165 degree water into my mug with larger bottom and smaller top. I used the frother in the same manner as I described above and it mixed perfectly with no lumps and a great foam on top. It is perfection. Smooth as can be with the Encha Organic Matcha (Ceremonial-grade, premium 1st harvest, 30g/1.06oz) which is the most amazing matcha I have ever tried.OBSERVATIONSThis frother is meant to use in a shallower amount of liquid. It is not for larger volumes. That means you put an inch or so of liquid in the cup and then use the frother, adding more later as in matcha. When this is put in a deeper volume of liquid, it really drags down the motor, so I divide if I am using larger volumes of milk or liquid and do it in batches. It is fast so it does not hold back.COMPANYThe company has been wonderful so far. They communicate, make sure you are doing well and then send a wonderful little book to help you learn to use your frother and with recipes to get you started. I really love the way they are customer oriented.THE BOTTOM LINEHandy frother, high performance, and solid build make this one of the best purchases I have made in a while. I am glad I can stand it on its end with no stand. It works quickly in shallow liquid and the froth stays for a long while. IT works great for matcha as well as lattes both of which I use it for. Coming with everything you need including batteries, I also am impressed with the positive pro-customer attitude of the company.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!Five stars. I will update if I have more to add as I continue to use this frother.

(Almost) 7 Year Update, 11/22/2024:I bought this in January of 2017! I still use it every day and it works just as good as it did on day one; that being awesome. I use it to make the crema for Cuban Coffee which is sugar and the first few seconds of coffee from the moka pot, blended with this frother. Old school Cubans use a spoon to whisk the mixture into a frothy paste. This does it in very little time instead. Other frothers are just not powerful enough. The key is to have good batteries. Use good rechargeable ones with high mAH values, 2800 mAH is a minimum. Enjoy!!!Update:I have been using this whisk every day for two and a half months now and I love it! I use it to make Cuban Coffee. Instead of whipping the sugar with a spoon (as I was taught to do) I use this Magic Wand! It is a powerful Frother and I have found that it is even more powerful when I use NIMH AA Camera rechargeable batteries. The main thing that makes this frother stand out is that the wand does not detach. It is able to stand up to the thicker mixture of sugar and espresso. I tried other battery frothers and was just about to give up when I found this beauty: Love it!4/2/2017 UPDATE:I put 2 AA Duracell DX1500 NiMh 2500nAh batteries (from my camera) into this frother and it turned into a BEAST! Wow!3/11/18 Update:I bought my first Cafe Casa Frother 1/14/17 and I have used it EVERY day since then, some times twice. It still works perfectly. I do not use it for milk I use it make the sugar for classic Cuban Coffee. The coffee / sugar mixture is usually done by hand but I have physical issues doing so. I burned up two "frothers" before finding this one. The mixture of coffee and sugar is much thicker than milk but this frother easily handles the mixture for up to a 6 cup Moka Pot. I recently got a mega 10 cup Moka Pot and though it can handle the 8 to 10 teaspoons of sugar / coffee it was taking too long and the whole timing was off. I just got a second Cafe Casa Frother and now use both of them when doing the 10 cup pot! Awesome, timing problem solved. Thank you again, Savannah, at Cafe Casa for an OUTSTANDING product!!!
