Everything you need for running around in the snow
Very comfortable, very warm, and completely waterproof. These boots are awesome! Easy to put on/take off. They are also a very nice looking winter boot. The laces let you adjust for fit around the lower part of your leg, foot, and ankle while the top drawstring keeps snow out.Sizing was very difficult to figure out and I had to send the first pair back once I based a size on how those fit. I wear a 9.5 size shoe, so I ordered the first pair in size 10. It took a size 11 to fit me correctly.I loved these boots so much that I ordered a pair for my wife. Same deal with figuring out the size but once we got a pair that fit her... she absolutely loves them too!

Warm
Well here it is mid January in the North East and I have worn these boots in temperatures down to 4 degrees F. with only regular socks and my feet stayed nice and warm. The cleats are nice and deep, great traction. They are comfortable, I wear 8-1/2 and the boots are a size 9, leaves a little room if I want to wear heavy socks. The boots have ties at the bottom and the top which really help the boot to fit so they are not loose when walking.Attractive, I got the black with the white reflective strips. These are the best winter boots I have ever owned and I have lived in the North East for over 50 years.I highly recommend these boots, you will not be disappointed.Thank you for reading my review. The engineer

Great Price for Functionality of a Waterproof Boot
Quick Summary: This boot was very surprising at how functional it was for the price. Slips on and off easily. Overall fits well for a waterproof/winter boot. Matched my need perfectly.Pros:• The price is great for how functional the boot is• Easy slip on and off, even for large size (size 14)• Thinsulate liner is comfortable and warm• Boot construction seems like it will be waterproof even in deep snow or puddles of water• Size comes a little oversized which helps for thick/layered socksCons:• Very heavy/clunky• Not the best looking/most fashionable boot out there• Oversizing might be an issue if not using thick/layered socksSpecific Ratings:• Price: 5/5• Functionality: 4/5• Looks 3/5• Fit 4/5Full Summary: I am very impressed with this boot, especially given the price I paid ($46.99 US). I was looking for a boot I could slip on and off easily to take my dog out in the rain or snow. I looked at many boots online, including fashionable ones, but found myself leaning towards a truly functional waterproof boot regardless of looks. The first time I wore the boots, I was very impressed that I could slip on a calf height boot with my size (14 US). I have had boots in the past and almost all I had to unlace virtually to the toe in order to get them on, especially if I had thick socks on. That is no problem with this boot. I never even touched the laces when I slipped them on.At first, I noticed how comfortable and warm they felt with the Thinsulate lining. It was 30 degrees and raining and I just had on a pair of thin nylon dress socks from work. I walked out side and my feet never came close to being cold or wet.The next thing I noticed, as I was walking in them, is how heavy and clunky they are. I actually had to adjust my gate to walk in them – imagine walking in those Japanese sandles where youd have to pick up your leg and intentionally take a step. It was odd, but this adjustment was mainly because they were so heavy and were a bit-oversized, so they slipped up and down my foot/leg while I walked. Overall, I am ok with that though because the oversizing will come in handy when I layer up for winter or maybe use hot packs on my feet at a football game (I will update on that when I try it later). I do believe if you lace them up tightly this slipping issue wont be much of an issue – again, I am using them mainly to take my dog out, so slipping off and on easily is fantastic. They are extremely durable – my St Bernard puppy who is going crazy and chewing/tearing up everything we own right now tried to chew on the bottom of these and did absolutely zero damage to them – and I felt nothing too. It was funny watching him try and me just stand there and not say anything – he was disappointed he couldn’t make me react. HAHA.The only real downfall I might give to these, although its not a huge issue for me given what I mainly use them for, is that they aren’t very pretty. They look as big and clunky as they feel. They definitely aren’t like the ladies Hunter fashion rain boots or any other fashionable waterproof boots. They built these for functionality and I’m fine with that.I would definitely recommend these boots to anyone looking for true waterproof functionality.

Not bad.
These boots are pretty good—they were very waterproof, even in deep snow that went past the rubber part, and they keep you well protected from the cold. For the price, they’re great. I only gave them 4 stars because I had to exchange them—the size I normally wear was too small. So, I recommend going at least a size and a half up, and if you plan to wear double socks, go up two sizes. The other downside is that they’re not very slip-resistant. More than once, I felt like I could slip. While it’s not a huge issue, you shouldn’t fully rely on them for grip.

Good buy
Great winter boots, I live in Northeast Ohio and they are perfect. I am a woman but I usually buy men's footwear or wide footwear due to bunions.

No flex, ineffectual strap
Pros:-Thick and warm material all the way up to the top-Look good-InexpensiveCons:-No flex in the lower part of the boot-On the narrower side-Foot can slide inside-Strap is too long/barely fastens and doesn't provide stabilityI bought the ones with a single strap around the ankle, in size 12.First thing I noticed after trying on these boots is that there's very little flex in the step. The entire lower part of the boot is stiff and inflexible almost (but not quite) like a hard plastic. I'm not surprised that there are some reviews talking the boots cracking and splitting apart. It feels like walking on a solid chunk. While the boots fit me quite snug laterally I found that there was a little extra length, which isn't a bad thing, but my foot tended to slide forward. After tightening the strap to try to secure the fit, I found there was only about 1/8 inch left of Velcro contact to secure the strap, and the rest of the strap stuck out awkwardly behind the boot. This also didn't secure my foot and stop it from sliding; it just felt like a strap pulling on my ankle. The sliding in these boots combined with the narrow, snug grip of the material made my socks bunch up around my toes uncomfortably which was a first for me.If you must try these boots I would at least try the ones with the laces, though I don't know if they will be enough if the footbed doesn't fit you just about right to begin with. Even if you have narrower feet and get the perfect fit I can't really recommend these boots because of the inflexible material. I'll be returning mine.
