Really sturdy and packed to take to my office abroad. Will buy more if any of my other stands fail in the future

I have to say this is an excellent piece of kit. Well designed & sturdy. I wanted something that would stop my portable monitor from toppling onto the floor & that I could lug up & down the country when working away from home. This is spot on. Enough adjustability without being over-engineered. It's very well made which means it's a little heavy but that simply reflects the quality of the item & materials used. Definitely recommended.

I’m a full time digital nomad traveling with a portable monitor to use with my laptop. This thing is absolutely genius as it lets me elevate my monitor. It’s sturdy yet packs small. The only downside is that I wish I could elevate it further, but for the size it packs down to it’s a great purchase.

I have a 15.6" portable asus monitor. So far so good, it supports the screen comfortably at a good angle. It is a decent weight and feels very sturdy.Edit, there is one drawback, if you lift the stand to its maximum Elevation it won't stay up, it slides back down. This isn't an issue for me as I want it at the minimum height, it is completely stable but if you want the screen higher this functionality may be a problem.

I have two of these (the first one was stolen when my car was broken into), so it must be decent to buy another. But beware it doesn't like larger (slightly) heavier displays and will constantly slide down. I get around this with a bit of gorilla tape and it happily holds my 16/18" portable displays.

Excellent - solid and easily supports my 16” portable monitor.Monitor is held at a similar height to the screen on a laptop screen when positioned on a desk.

Whilst the build quality of this stand seems quite good - heavy enough that it won't topple over, constructed of decent materials - the advertised height adjustable part is a real weakness in the design. I purchased the stand as needed the height adjustable feature to bring my portable 17 inch monitor to a decent working level. First time I used it all seemed well. However on the second and subsequent uses the fully extended height adjustable arms gradually sank down over a couple of minutes. Tried to adjust the angle so that the arms were tilted slightly forward but this just slowed the descent of the arms. There either needs to be some form of ratchet on the arms or a proper pneumatic system. Either way it's not fit for purpose. Shame.
