These rods are sweet
5 stars for the rod. Shipped and received on time. I purchased the 7’6” medium fast spinning. Going to pair it with a Shimano 3000 series. Live in FL and will be using this mostly for snook and reds. The rod is sweet, not my first St. Croix and won’t be my last. Feels great, quality is in my opinion is perfect.Shipping though, I feel like I got lucky it would get 1 star if I could separate the two. The box was bent, flimsy, and looks like it barely made it hear alive. When I saw the box I was sure my rod was damaged. Very fortunate no damage to rod. Come on this cost a lot for me and wtf please package these better.

not the best rods in the world
I bought 4 of these new mojos inshore spinning rods and all 4 have broken at tip of the rod by the 3 to 4 eyelet. I have purchased over 10 St. Croix rods from the avid inshore to the triumph. Have had a great experience until I got ahold of the new Mojo inshore. All four of my Mojos inshores have broke and was not caused by user error. The first two broke while I was anchoring the hook to the rod tip. The rods bent down to the 3rd or 4th eyelet and snapped. I thought it was defective batch but my second one broke the same way however I purchased the it from a different store (leads me to think they came from a different batch). The last two broke while I was hooked into a fish. One was a 10 inch black sea bass and the other was a 13 inch puppy drum. Super disappointed with my purchase. I have hooked into monsters with the previous model and had Zero issues. Not sure what is going on with the new Mojo inshore but I will not buy another St. Croix until they call ort email me back to help me resolve this issue.

USPS Broke my new rod
The rod look so nice but USPS broke it. The seller put it in a hard cardboard tube and even added a split piece of PVC pipe but the post office still broke it. It traveled 50 miles through only three post offices but the broke it. Seller was great and is replacing it.Update June 4, 2021Picked up my replacement rod at the store. Placed it in my truck bed, which has a cover and carpet bed liner. When I got home and removed the rod I noticed it was not straight. When I touched the tip to see what was wrong it just broke off. Between the tip and first eye. The rod blank seemed like it was brittle and not sturdy at all.

Worth it
Arrived on time, rod was packed well and would give 5 stars but I have not used it yet to check alignment. Rod color is awesome and the feel is stupid light and smoothUpdate, it’s more medium fast than fast. I still like it and it fished well. But still only 4 stars

Broke on second outing
I bought this for my boyfriend. It is his first high-end inshore saltwater rod. It is the Medium fast 7'6'' model. We were both initially very disappointed in the stiff action, but I suppose that is my own fault and should have gone with a medium light. I was with him on his second day out. Considering how stiff the rod is, we were very surprised when it snapped in half whilst casting a 1/4oz jighead connected to a soft plastic. The rod literally buckled in half. As I write this, I am 24 hours past Amazon's return window. I've reached out to St. Croix, but I highly doubt I will hear back. I actually had the same problem years ago with a St. Croix fly rod and after calls, e-mails, etc all I got was radio silence. This is not a poor review for the seller, but for the product itself as well as the company. I would advise anyone to stay far away from St. Croix. We have a $240 broken rod with nothing to show for it after only two fishing outings. I NEVER leave bad reviews, but this is ridiculous.
