San-X Corner Sumikko Gurashi Two Tier Bento Lunch Box KY41101

The wife here:I absolutely adore this bento box. It's the perfect size for someone who is looking to portion control. The bottom is great for rice and the top can be split between proteins and veggies. I know I should have more veggies, but that's on me. It holds up to reheating in the microwave. I have not tested it in a dishwasher as I do not have one, so that remains a mystery. The snap clips are sturdy and work well. The rubber seal is easily removed from the top to be cleaned and even easier to put back in. It's super easy to clean by hand and so far has been leak proof but I have never tested it with anything semi liquid - It's not common in Japanese bento anyways. All in all 100/10. I'm debating buying another one as a back up in case mine ever fails or is broken.Ps, it comes with chopsticks, but no other utensils so if you prefer a fork and spoon, you'll need to buy those separate.

I love this! I expected it to look small, and it does. But as the description says, each of the two compartments (top and bottom) is 300 mL for a total of 600 mL, around 2.5 cups. I verified it by pouring cups of water into it. Sources I've read say this is appropriate for adult women around 5'1" and that the number of mL is approximately equal to the number of calories you will likely pack in the box, but of course whether the box works for you personally depends on how bulky your lunch food is, how much you eat and how tightly you pack the food in the box. I plan to put my main food in here (rice, meat/egg, etc), packed tightly, and if I have additional bulky fruit or veggies some days I might bring them separately. Based on tests with water, the top compartment is leak proof but the bottom one is not. I don't know that I would pack soups in here personally because I don't plan to microwave food in it and I also might want to pack a larger portion depending on how dense the soup is. Cute for snacks, a bit small

I’m a fan of sumikkogurashi so i really love the design of this bento box. I checked the dimensions before placing the order so I knew it was small; when I received it, I found it was actually even small than I expected. Both trays were very shallow so you can’t put too much food in it. Therefore I decided to use it for side dishes only and put my rice in another container. So far it works well. My only complaint is that you can’t wash it in the dishwasher.

The bento box is exactly like the picture! And it's very easy to clean and very durable. I absolutely love it ❤

This is ADORABLE. It is a little tinier than I thought but that was my fault for not checking or asking for the size; it's still enough space for a regular meal; it comes with a little compartment in the middle with pink plastic chopsticks, and the lid has this glittery look to it. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Ordered in 2019 but the container has still held up!!! Anyway, very cute, and good price!!! The lid has a glittery shine that is soooo cute!! Also, the food surprisingly does not leak out at all!!

Item works good. A little small for vegetables but perfect portion for rice and meat. Absolutely adorable. Easy to ckean.
