Invisible on my carpet
These are simply wonderful. They're translucent, but not transparent; they're actually white. On my carpet, which is a mix of black, gray, and white, they're nearly invisible. They're very easy to use, even by a senior citizen like me. I shimmed a 6' tall buffet and a 3' tall cabinet without any difficulty, and I plan to keep more of these on hand for any need that arises. There are videos on YouTube that show the proper way to shim, but that requires cutting off the end after measuring the length needed. Since I have to move my furniture from time to time, I prefer to leave the end out, where I can snag the shim by the handy holes for that purpose. Highly recommended!

Stability
This product was exactly what I needed. I purchased a cabinet that wobbled. This product was great and provided the stability I needed under one of the legs.

The only wide wedges (>1.5”) I could find
I needed wedges around 2” wide and they’re surprisingly hard to find. If you don’t break these apart they are over 2”. If you need wide wedges these are a good option.
