Great Set!!!!
I got this set for christmas and started building it New Year's Eve. I almost had it finished but ran upstairs just in time for the big ball countdown to go off in New York. I live in central time zone so it wasn't midnight yet, but I still went to bed. The next morning i finished it. I think the detail is amazing. The snake prison is beautiful and you can even fit another prisoner on the back. The bridge that you walk up can move up and down. The dragon is awesome. It is a bit hard to move and the tail snaps off every so often. It would also be nice if they would include 2 shooter balls in stead of one, but besides that it is very detailed. It almost looks like a real dragon. The big snake (serpentine) is also cool. Its eyes are cool because of the way they catch the light. It can also hold a mini figure in its mouth. The mini figures included in the set were also very detailed and cute. The weapons were cool and the sword of that tribe had a cool insignia.

Took and replaced
This is insane I opened the box to the worst thing possible! Nothing Ninjago related in the box 500$ scam is insane. Had to make a little edit, to the person who did this is reading this I hope you enjoy that 500$. I never knew that you could still get scammed when the price is over 500$😭

Great build
My eight year old daughter adores Ninjago, and begged for this set for ages. She doesn't always stay focused on the longer builds, but this one kept her focused from start to finish. The pieces fit together well and it looks great on display. She loves to play with it too, and has started modifying some of the parts just for fun - great engineering-skill building! The build was just challenging enough to keep her interested, but not so much so that she got frustrated. Would definitely recommend it for other Lego fans!

Exciting Lego Creation
My son is a Lego fanatic who has had hundreds of sets (and, no, I don't even want to THINK about the total investment we have in Legos at this point), and this is one of his favorites. He loves the Chima and Ninjago lines and this large, impressive dragon was both an intricate build AND a very cool plaything once finished. While some projects seem to quickly get destroyed--sometimes I think he has much fun breaking them as building them--this one was one the Lego table, and involved in lots of battles, for quite a while, even though it's a fairly fragile set-up with all the spikes and wings. All in all, as much as I think they're over-priced hunks of plastic that I curse stepping on in the middle of the night (ouch!), Legos really are a creative and innovative plaything that helps develop quite a few skills, from dexterity, to critical thinking, imagination and even basic math and geometry, not to mention patience and concentration, all without kids even knowing they're learning anything.

Awesome set!
This is the ONLY birthday present my 9 yr old son asked for, and he LOVED it! He has other Ningago sets, is a fan of the tv series, and wanted to complete his collection. The design made it fairly easy for him to assemble even though it has over 900 pieces. (This is an important feature because although he has assembled other large Lego projects, sometimes the pieces are hard to fit together or they do not hold together well during the building process, which can makes them frustrating.) He started building the minute he received it and was so excited to finish, he woke up early to complete it before school! Includes lots of cool minifigures for imaginative play. Like all Legos, you have to play carefully or it will break, but he is old enough to realize this.

Item never received!
I cancelled this order when the arrival date passed and I had not received yet! Amazon refunded but I have not gotten my credit card bill that reflects a credit! I will be happy when it credited ! I was able to find the Lego set , at a lower price! This was the main item my 5 year old grandson wanted!

Pass this one up.
Looks wonderful on the box, and my 9yr. old was excited about receiving this for Christmas however looks were deceiving. The Epic Dragon does not stay together. It was frustrating for he and myself as well. It is quite fragile and is virtually impossible to assemble without it falling apart. Would not recommend.

Disappointing for the price
Anyone who isn't new to LEGO knows you're going to be dealing with a high price point, and that is usually met with an awesome product to go along with it. this is the first time I have felt the end result wasn't worth the price point. $120.00 is ridiculous for a 915 piece set, even with the numerous molded pieces. to compare, the Galactic Titan weighs in over 1000 pieces with its 100 dollar price point and is probably one of the most exciting sets I've had on this side of the large creator sets. (In fact, all of the Galaxy Squad sets were outstanding)getting back to this set, the whole thing feels underwhelming and fragile. There are plenty of minifigs and characters however, which takes the sting off a bit.The Dragon itself is pretty cool, and would have been excited to get just that for 70.
