Awesome hair tool: inserts easily into pony just as demo & makes thick, heavy hair weightless. Not only gives structure to ponytail, but props up messy bun as well. I picked the tan version for shoulder-length silver hair, and it is not seen from outside the hairstyle at all. No hair hurt & no sliding down of hair-do. I used mine with a scrunchie.

The ad for this product makes you think you are going to get three of them, you only get ONE, and they include THREE plastic rubber bands. I felt the ad was misleading as to what you really get. I also expected the rubber "bumper" to be light and a soft material...it's not, it's hard plastic and HEAVY, I have thick hair, and it didn't work or all, it's so heavy your hair can't hold it and it doesn't stay put, and again, it's very HEAVY. The three plastic rubber bands that are included will last about two times before it stretches out or breaks. I immediately returned this product.

My hair isn't very long, but the ponyful still works on my hair. It makes my pony fuller and still cannot be seen. So it works and it's pretty impressive.They provide a couple of elastic bands and I think you really need those to work. They are more heavy duty than the other kind I have. You need to have enough give to get the ponyful in there, and it needs to be tight enough and strong enough to hold it. You do need to put it in the pony according to the directions. It's really the only way for it to work properly and to stay in all day.I tried it on a couple of times, but when I wore it "for real" I found it hard to keep my pony neat. I made a bit of a mess by the time I got it in, then I had to tighten things up and ended up with kind of a messy pony but it worked ok. Maybe with time I would get better at this.I would recommend that you try it out.

I was skeptical, but I ordered just in case. I must say...it works like a charm!

What a useless item. It doesn't work, is too heavy, and is hard to use. Don't waste your money.
